This city is totally different from every city I've ever seen. There's nobody walking around, no garbage on the sidewalks, no colour except for the blue of the sky and the green of the plants next to the driveway. There are few cars, the buildings look all the same and no matter which direction the car is facing, everything is exactly the same. It almost seems as if the city were dead. There is no sign of life. You wouldn't find a city like this anywhere in the western world. They are generally more colourful and alive. This is the reason why I wouldn't like to live in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. I think the Pyongyang comarison isn't that far-fetched. Maybe this is because of the similar authoritarian governments the two countries have.
