What did he say wrong? Allowing Lamar to get outside of the pocket, a defense has zero chance. The only thing a defense can hope for is keeping Lamar in the pocket "and" being able to cover his targets. Payton was not disrespecting Lamar, he was stating the obvious.
@whatisaymatters Once again, explain what Payton said that was wrong. A QB can only be defensed 2 ways, keep him in the pocket or force him out the pocket. So instead of being emotional, explain your view, like an adult.

Yes Lamar has evolved into a great passer(yeah I said it haters) but it's also kinda silly how they talk about "keeping him in the pocket" like it's just a choice you make. Good luck containing him if he's truly focused on getting out.
This is like the bulls 91 season you could just feel it all season they were gonna go all the way you could see Mj becoming the goat right before our eyes. Jordan and Lamar got drafted at 21 Jordan didn’t win a ship till he was 27-28 Lamar is 27 gonna be 28 in January we’re watching Lamar become the goat right before our eyes it just took some time Lamar had to develop his game more and get the right pieces around him just like Jordan now once he wins his first one it’s over he’s going on a run like Jordan did
Keeping LJ in the pocket is of course the right choice but you have to cover down field & the broncos just didn't do that. Just look at how defenses played the ravens offense the last several playoffs & that's what teams are going to continue to do.
Another piece of Lamar's false narrative. Not true. He was on a non-exclusive franchise tag. No team was going to go through the whole process of offering Lamar a contract because everybody knew he was going nowhere, and Bisciotti was going to match or beat any deal. Then this certain team would be labeled with setting the market for top QBs immediately after Watson's Brown killing contract. It seems there was some collusion among certain owners to not offer Lamar a guarantee as well, but the Ravens were not letting him go so easy. Of course, teams wanted him, but there was really no point in teams making the contract offer effort knowing it was pointless.

Denvers D-Backs All Hype, not All World!
He thinks he's a great coach ,u only won one superbowl and that was defense and the craftiness of Drew Brees.
No, it was Reggie Bush and the defense. They ran the ball mostly that year.
This is the best Lamar has played his whole career , two MVPs later!!!! WTH
What did he say wrong? Allowing Lamar to get outside of the pocket, a defense has zero chance. The only thing a defense can hope for is keeping Lamar in the pocket "and" being able to cover his targets. Payton was not disrespecting Lamar, he was stating the obvious.
He a racist so get off this page defending that racist
@ obviously u don't know what disrespect looks like unless its aimed at u or those like u.
@whatisaymatters Once again, explain what Payton said that was wrong. A QB can only be defensed 2 ways, keep him in the pocket or force him out the pocket. So instead of being emotional, explain your view, like an adult.
@@whatisaymattersWhere was the disrespect?
@mrredd8439 again you will have to know what disrespect looks like and it's clear that you don't. Respect is a learned behavior that I see you haven't been taught. It's either you know or you don't👀
If Mo Pix was just a liiiitle more accurate the game would have been WAY closer… guys were WIDE open again and next time when we face a more accurate QB we’re going to be in another shoot out… something on defense has to change
Where was the new receiver???
He just got here and we didn’t need him today he’ll get more comfortable in the offense moving forward
Lamar beat the Broncos from the pocket…period! Payton, due to ignorance, uncomfortable admitting it. It’s really that simple.
Watch the cheifs defense tomorrow night
There rolling 😎
i isn't bucs down their best two wr?
The closer we get to the end of the season they're going to start bringing up Lamar's playoff wins.🤷🏿♂️🤷🏻♀️
SP is one of the haters that refuse to say (He) “I was wrong about Lamar Jackson”. The same guy that said Taysom Hill was a better QB than Lamar…. Anonymously. SMH!!!!
2 drops and a bad snap from 100%
that game was given to the ravens via refs . go zebras! they are the only thing the fans can count on
Lamar doesn’t wven run much anymore lol 😂
Yes Lamar has evolved into a great passer(yeah I said it haters) but it's also kinda silly how they talk about "keeping him in the pocket" like it's just a choice you make. Good luck containing him if he's truly focused on getting out.
Wait we're still doing this "keep him in the pocket" nonsense?
Dude was an arrogant punk. He did Russell dirty
This is like the bulls 91 season you could just feel it all season they were gonna go all the way you could see Mj becoming the goat right before our eyes. Jordan and Lamar got drafted at 21 Jordan didn’t win a ship till he was 27-28 Lamar is 27 gonna be 28 in January we’re watching Lamar become the goat right before our eyes it just took some time Lamar had to develop his game more and get the right pieces around him just like Jordan now once he wins his first one it’s over he’s going on a run like Jordan did
Payton is a goof ball
Funny he disrespect lamar but that taysom hill guy he wanted to turn into lamar hasnt panned out and paid him to be a back up.
Keeping LJ in the pocket is of course the right choice but you have to cover down field & the broncos just didn't do that. Just look at how defenses played the ravens offense the last several playoffs & that's what teams are going to continue to do.
Sean payton is a very overrated coach
ZAY is really sll that!!!!! It shows! Holly who?
It’s funny because no one wanted Lamar in 2022
Another piece of Lamar's false narrative.
I bet if Chiefs meet Ravens in playoff, they will make him throw all day. Just my opinion.
Lmar fine.rested him because they got game thurs.
