That does not look like the same truck! It looks great! I want to thank you for all the fun that we have had today! I really enjoyed hanging out with you! It was so much fun! Thank you very much my friend for being my friend!
I shortened the mirror posts on mine and slid em down where I can still adjust them, but really close to the lower cover. Makes a big difference in how they look.
I know what you mean with that rear bumper. I had the same problem except for mine is filled with concrete. I can't wait to get my truck back and remove both bumpers And put new ones
This was just kind of something that happened, was in the middle of finishing my garage so I didn’t have a compressor hooked up so primered is best, his wife and me just jumped on it and rattle canned it, actually turned out alright. Went with fiat first then satin over top. Turned out pretty decent
GM Tim38 I just like the classic look brother 15s with fat tires. Just can't beat it. I do like your setup though I honestly thought about going that way but where I live we have potholes everywhere lol
Not too bad if you have all of the equipment. You should do all the seals under that valve cover. If it seems pretty easy, do the other side too. There are videos out there on doing this. You can buy a fitting that screws into place for each spark plug- If you have an air compressor. You pressurize the cylinders with compressed air (so you don't drop a valve inside the cylinder) as you take off each rocker arm & install these new seals on the valve stem. You also rotate the engine and draw the pistons up to the top & have both valves closed for this repair. Search for a few videos & it will all make more sense. 👍
@@gmtim3840 Oh, wait. Different "dads truck". I was watching this video as I read the comments- Since this video is a year old. I was thinking of that, what, 1990 model?? 1989?

I have an 86 short bed that I’m fixing up and really like that wheel and tire setup. What size are those? Sharp trucks!

What size wheel and tires combo you runnin, looks clean brother. Keep em coming!
20x10 and 20x8. Don’t recall the tire size. I’ve since sold that truck but I will try to figure out what size they were.
@@gmtim3840 no worries brother just mainly wondering about wheel size.
Not everybody is as good as u hill man.
Primered is best and his wife put a lot of time in on it.
Man that looks good, did you wet sand or anything and how many cans of paint did you have to use? 2 coats?

Running WithWolves I like the 15’s. A lot of people are going back to them

Love the truck. How hard is it replace valve seals? Have to do the #5 on my 84 c10. Keep making content

How many rattle cans did you use?

WHAT SIZE RIM AND TIERS FRONT AND BACK
Is your c10 a lwb / long bed model? Looks mean
Yes lwb. Actually sold the truck to Tim Dixon
What size are your wheels and tires
Tim would you still sell this truck if so what would you have to have for it
Sold it a while back
@@gmtim3840 thanks well do you have any other trucks like that one that's for sale
Do the front wheels touches the inner fenders?
@@jorgedeleon2508 not unless you hit a Major bump. If you run lowering shocks, they hit bad. The stock shocks help a lot
You still have that 78 for sale?
No it sold a while back
Nice truck! What 5/7 drop? C-notch?
That truck had a 4/6 drop with no c notch but it needed one. I actually sold this truck
Mucho better !!!!!
Thanks buddy
what paint is it
That was just rattle can flat black and then satin over top of that
Did you use Flat, semi, or satin?
I went satin and then sprayed flat back over it. Dulled it down just a hair
@@gmtim3840 Thanks, I amount to do the same, would you suggest spraying flat from the start? Thanks for any info,
