@@Oklawolf thanks mate! Now i have found that there are some nicer methods to get full lcd backlit with less effort, but maybe i will do that one some time later :) Cheers mate!

Excellent job. I have a Technics RS-B765 within my Hi-Fi System (I know, I am old school). When you look through the window in the loading door all you see is darkness. In daytime it's okay, but at night; like you, I would like to be able to see how far through the Tape I am. There must be some way of doing it though. Thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks mate! 🙏 i would definitely try to install some led or el flexible one to get nice back illumination ;) but of course that procedure would eat some time, anyway results would definitely would be great 👍
      Cheers mate!

Yellow 0805 led would have worked the best, yellow leds are awesome at light diffusion

I totally agree, but i have not had one in stock at that time. Next one will definitely get amber colour led ;) i also seen some EL flexible papers, but as i seen all of them needs quite a high voltage. That would be awesome to get hands on those el flexible ones that were used in sony md remotes… :)
      Cheers
