Best band ever! I started liking Third Eye Blind since I was in high school by the influence of my brothers, but I never thought that they have more songs that was so touching and deep. I really really love this band. Thumbs up!
Amazing performance. The thing about notes don't mean nothing to me. To me what really matters is the vibe, the soul, the feel and this is the thing about TEB. Amazing.
@@Michael_Dominic I actually really liked Dopamine; however, the first album is magic and untouchable. As a guitarist myself I love Kevin Cadogan's stuff. So organic and full of life and energy. Now it sounds more karaoke with Stephen and his supporting band.
@@terrillmel i literally just finished listening to it again on a decently long drive, made through back to zero which is my favorite. It helps to separate art from artist.
Whatever happened to the original bass player? He quit or gotten fired? It seems like the singer is a control freak. Reminds me of Art from everclear who seems like he new rhythm section every tour
the original guitarist, the replacement guitarist (tony here), and the original bassist all got fired, ya. they formed a band together (XEB, get it) to perform the original album on its 20th anniversary. great to hear the original musicians playing the music they wrote instead of the cover band that SJ is running around with now :) sad story w/ this band. SJ even got sued by the original manager who had apparently been ghost writing lyrics.
Man, phe-phukin nominal group, I just wish Jenkins didn’t purge the founding chemistry like farmers Koulaks to the same end. The talent and unique sonic signature just abruptly begins to fade after their third album and the purge of the bass and lead guitar. Jenkins is obviously a talented wordsmith but we were robbed of Cadogan long before he was allowed to realize his full potential 😌
3EB is in my opinion one of, if not the best “recorded” band of the 90s. I love their music, but let’s be honest here... Stephan is NOT good live. I remember the first tome I heard them live and I was like, yeah, no.
Same, most of the live shows are pretty mediocre but their studio music is amazing. I remember seeing them live about a year ago at a music festival in Florida called Sand Jam. During that performance they did a pretty good job, it was also pretty fun watching Stephen jump around like an idiot because he was high out of his mind. If you want to see a really good live performance of 3eb's songs I'd recommend checking out Xeb's performances, they're all pretty good.
@@RichLclips I can ONLY imagine how Kryz Reid screws this song up and it’s embarrassing 🫣 he’s the WORST guitarist ever that Jenkins has ever had on the lineup of 3EB and what’s sad 😢 is that Reid has been in the band the LONGEST so far than Fredianelli and Cadogan combined. I think Jenkins brought him in 2010 or 2011 I think 🧐 🤔
@@ChairmanPaulieD Probably no one else will play with him, he only mentions the band as 'his' and probably controls their every move. The real third eye blind died years and years ago, the new garbage is SJ's douchey solo project.
thank you so much for introducing me to this band dad. RIP Miss you everyday
Same!!! I lost my dad December of 2019- I always think of him when I listen to 3eb
Your father had brilliant taste
My dad also showed me 3eb and they’ve been my favorite band ever since
Your dad was a good man.. knows great music 🎶
Most underrated 3EB song
It's my fave, off of my favorite album of theirs.
Agree

They were just never the same after Kevin Cadogan (who was a major writer on this song).

bullshit…they are great and he is very talented. excellent songwriter. UC Berkley lit degree pays off…
Not long after this Tony woke up and realised Stephen was fucking him and sued him.
Tony kind of messed it up
where? he learned this from Kevin Cadogan himself

Sorry SJ - you can't sing live. However in the studio, you're great.
*live, and that's just, like, your opinion man.
Just really not good live some are just meant for studios
XEB did it better!
They have some of my favorite albums ever, and they are also the absolute WORST live band I have seen hahaha. Omg I can’t even express.
I will stick to the studio version this was trash live lol
Sucks so bad
Chels Mendo no u
Stephan yeah he made a couple of errors in this performance but he def knows how to pick it up towards the end
i love this song but this rendition no good'
