Nice Ray!i always look forward getting home and wonder whats coming up next! Great stuff. what would you recommend after the 450 pro Ray ?Dominator looks cool but so does the 500!! spoiled for choice ha ha
Trex 700 e dfc is a killer bird , I love it and like you said cheap and plenty of parts. They fly amazing to . 750mx has plenty of power. People always underestimate the under dog !
I'm looking at the TP G8 70C batteries, do they use a JST-XH balancing and do you have to use a thunder power charger. I can't find any info on them...thx
Barney Meza The new magna series batteries do use a jst connector and you can charge the batteries on what ever charger you like .www.thunderpowerrc.com
Ray, I'm putting together a 700 dominator with a Beast X. Normally I use a Castle BEC pro but I'm thinking of using a reciever pack. What components would be needed and how would they be wired....thanks
no big deal using a receiver battery very simple get your self a jr servo extention wire and plug it into a open port on the beast x like the bind port or any open that way you don't where out the beast x port plugging in and out your receiver battery instead it plugs in to the other end of the servo extention wire .as far as a battery i use a 2 cell thunder power 1900 mah lipo but you can use bigger if you want some guys use 5000 2 cells thats up to you
Barney Meza i never use bec i don't trust them i use a thunder power 1900 receiver battery .buy a jr heavy duty 6 inch servo extention then plug it into the beast x and leave it there, then simply plug the other end into the reciver pack when your ready to fly ,that way your not plugging in and out of the beast x unit wearing out the plug
Hey buddy just a quick question about your beast x and satellite. I found that I had to put the satellite right at the back off the frame as far back as I could get it otherwise I was getting a heap of frames and numerous holds. Have you experienced this, it only come clear to me after paying attention to the telemetry data Cheers Fiddo
Nice ... I have been contemplating getting a trex 700 pro.. it looks nice , did you not think about getting the Goblin 700 ? as you have some other goblins ? Im a little unsure at the Mo , just that I don't think that the G700 won't crash well , so am leaning towards this ... look forward to seeing it fly ... nice one Ray ...
nitrokyosho hi ray any videos or info on a basic setup for a beast x for my dominator ? u stated your pretty good with the beast x . any help would be greatly appreciated .
at this time i don't have any videos out because i thought the beast x was so easy and user friendly to use but maybe i'll put one out .if you have any questions just ask but remember to read the manual and follow step by step .
Great video, great heli! When Will you get a 800 ray? I had the same trex 700 as you and i just converted it to 800 and the diffrence is Huge! It alkostopp flies it self :p would Love to se you try one and give us your thougts :p best regards / Sebastian, sweden
Why don't you get a motor what has grunt like a KDE I fancy going 14s on this machine I will use thunder power lipos aswel 2x 7s 5000mah about the height of them should have no problem They are 57mm I had a rough estimated weight of my heli with KDE upgrades plus a bit of cutting of slack wire to lose a few grams around 5kg estimate weight plus the stock kit weight is roughly the same so a good compromise Of quality and a bit of a weight loss because I will be useing good quality electronics don't wanna skimp Ile be useing a KDE g3 455kv for 14s setup this motor is so powerful and responsive a lot of pilots flown hard 3d at 2050rpm because of the grunt it has pulls any heavy helicopter like it weighed next to nothing Even if the motor is a tad heavy pulls like a train 670g with wire its 700g altogether Plus a kosmik cool 250g plus wire Plus lipos 918g x2 Servos of choice will be mks high voltage Gyro sk750 with GPS Plus radio futuba 18mz so ile have a nice setup for doing sport flying 5kg is not bad for 3d because if you have a motor that pulls a 6kg model next to nothing you won't even know it Weighed 6k because the motor won't struggle with it it will pull it when you have a motor made for 800 size machines lol you can guarantee that a motor like that will pull any model through any insane stunts That's the difference with a decent motor for a good price plus cheaper than the 850mx which won't pull like a KDE for half the price plus the quality of his motors are next to nothing he says they are expensive For the price of a 800mx motor I can buy a KDE motor for half the price and it will pull a 7kg machine like nothing I did a money converter from us dollars to GB pounds which came out cheaper KDE or 800mx The KDE wins big time insane power good quality half the price of a 800mx
Ray Real Nice AlignTrex 700 e dfc build Review ! Glad your so Excited & Great Video Thanks !

God, just a little bigger and u could ride it
Why don't you get a motor what has grunt like a KDE I fancy going 14s on this machine
I will use thunder power lipos aswel 2x 7s 5000mah about the height of them should have no problem
They are 57mm I had a rough estimated weight of my heli with KDE upgrades plus a bit of cutting of slack wire to lose a few grams around 5kg estimate weight plus the stock kit weight is roughly the same so a good compromise
Of quality and a bit of a weight loss because I will be useing good quality electronics don't wanna skimp
Ile be useing a KDE g3 455kv for 14s setup this motor is so powerful and responsive a lot of pilots flown hard 3d at 2050rpm because of the grunt it has pulls any heavy helicopter like it weighed next to nothing
Even if the motor is a tad heavy pulls like a train 670g with wire its 700g altogether
Plus a kosmik cool 250g plus wire
Plus lipos 918g x2
Servos of choice will be mks high voltage
Gyro sk750 with GPS
Plus radio futuba 18mz so ile have a nice setup for doing sport flying
5kg is not bad for 3d because if you have a motor that pulls a 6kg model next to nothing you won't even know it
Weighed 6k because the motor won't struggle with it it will pull it when you have a motor made for 800 size machines lol you can guarantee that a motor like that will pull any model through any insane stunts
That's the difference with a decent motor for a good price plus cheaper than the 850mx which won't pull like a KDE for half the price plus the quality of his motors are next to nothing he says they are expensive
For the price of a 800mx motor I can buy a KDE motor for half the price and it will pull a 7kg machine like nothing
I did a money converter from us dollars to GB pounds which came out cheaper KDE or 800mx
The KDE wins big time insane power good quality half the price of a 800mx
So now that you got your 700 size heli, what cha gonna do with it? And are you gonna get the Thundet Tiger 800e? Might as well!!
