Mate, I go to London sometimes around once a week and I often buy a donut from their Embankment shop. Simply put, their donuts aren't just any old donuts, they are works of art, each and every one made with lots and lots of love. PS - they're now £4.75 :)
Furthermore, you didn't get the filled ones, apart from that Kanye Vest one and you admitted that was special. Go when they have more, and you'll see how amazing they all are. One of my favourites was with red velvet dough, icing etc and one I had had blueberry jam inside and actual blueberries and the taste was amazing. Always go for a filled donut there and you will never, ever be disappointed.
Bring back the working class reviews! Non of these £14 sandwiches and £4 doughnuts 😂

They do look good, but as a cheapskate, I'd rather have 96 Asda doughnuts for the same price (£2 for 12).
That’s an insane price for a silly donut..I don’t care where it is..for 4 donuts 16£ or $20 OMG .. ridiculous..I live close to New York I don’t think there is a donut that cost that much..well hope it tasted good !!

It's because their policy is that all donuts are a single flat price, so, that simple glazed one is the least 'value for money' but is extremely good.
That's a scam, there are too many over priced average doughnut places around
£4 each that is high even for London prices, I suppose they need to take in to account rental for the shop etc in London,...but I think I'll stick to my Belgian Bun with fresh cream for £1.60 at my local bakery.

£16 for 4??? Absolute rip off but that's normal for London. Glazed doughnuts are vile in comparison to a proper ball doughnut with plenty of filling and a light dusting of sugar - that my friend is doughnut perfection.
They are expensive for a reason, they are pricing fat coppers out of the market. 🤔

Four quid each doughnut is pricey but everything in London is overpriced. The doughnuts to be fair are big and probably x2 a Krispy Kreme and they cost over two quid each!
