21:07 When Wednesday commented that she wished she cared a little more about what people think, my takeaway from that scene is that Wednesday _knows_ she should and is supposed to care about people's feelings more, yet finds herself being built differently in that regard. As such, looking out for people's emotions and feelings doesn't come naturally to her and they are thus something she struggles to notice. Which is a challenge faced by some people with neurodivergent traits that results in them having difficulty fitting in with others.
I think it is suspicious that Tyler suddenly gets all emotionally manipulative in the same episode that Thornhill's class is about carnivorous plants that use sexual trickery to lure in victims.
One plot issue I have with this series is the "Addams" bloodline and visions. It seems like they imply Goody Addams has visions and is Wednesday's direct ancestor. Assuming Goody had children out of wedlock so the name is passed down...that bloodline passes through Gomez Addams. But they also establish that Wednesday inherited her visions through her mother, who also started getting them at the same age - and Morticia's family name was Frump. So unless there was interbreedings between the Addams family and the Frump family previously, Goody would not be one of Morticia's ancestors. I dunno, I'd just like to see the Addams family tree... In episode 5, which is no spoiler since you've seen the whole series, Morticia does point out that an ancestor of Gomez was who killed the Pilgrim, confirming Goody Addams as the likely source of Wednesday's vision ability as a Raven, so we just don't know where Morticia got her own visions from. But that means both bloodlines, through Gomez and Morticia, may have contributed to Wednesday's ability, possibly making her ability stronger.
The simple answer to all your question why a guy did something stupid in a Situation is: Teen boy every teen is stupid when they interact with the oposid gender
10:09 In the age of high school most of us males don't know how we are supposed to act around females. I was a Eugene in high school from geekiness and odd interests to "playing the long game". I have matured since. Even now near retirement, after marraige, divorce and two children, I still feel like Tyler misinterpreting signals.

Tyler never said outright he had feelings for Wednesday...but didn't he offer to help her escape town a couple different times? At least once "no charge"? I mean, that's kind of a guy signal, offering to do favors for someone you like...

Nah, Wednesday & Enid's friendship is fine just like it is. No need to mess it up like that. Only thing that will stop a season 2 is negotiations. Now that it's a massive hit, everyone will want a bigger piece of the franchise. Fingers crossed! Enjoy!
Hi, Rae! Never got a chance to be 1st commenter before. Your general comments about all the boy-girl miscues💔 are all on point. As for the everybody's-sus vibe, that just means you're paying attention. Trust no one, and eventually you'll be right about at least one of them. (That's not any sort of spoiler, just encouragement to keep doing what you're doing!) 👀

Ehhh not a fan of the wenclair craze. It'd mess up their friend dynamic and that's more interesting from a story telling standpoint then a stereotypical romance.
@@ashchbkv6965 I don't want this turning into another CW gooshy feels fest. This is Wednesday Addams we're talking about. Love interests complicate everything in shows and I dare say it are grossly overused, they inject unessacary angst and its ALWAYS for angst sake. And yes it is always stereotypical because it leads to the same conclusions, the same story threads, the same drama. It's predictable because there only ever be two outcomes. They stay together, they break up. A Wenclaire situation also complicates the DNA of what makes Wednesday, Wednesday. She isn't going to be as willing to do dangerous things or put Enid in danger to complete a task or solve a mystery. That fundamentally changes the comedic aspect of their best friend shenanigans resulting in two outcomes. Wednesday either changes her attitude and breaks her character so she doesnt hurt or anger boo which is assassinating the whole point of her character to begin with. Or she doesn't change at all and is seen as uncareing toxic and abusive, and don't even begin to try and say that people won't say that. Does any of that sound entertaining? No, no it doesn't. Enid being Watson to Wednesdays Sherlock is far more compelling and narratively interesting for this type of show.

such a good point!

No cause you just blew my mind with this, the potential forshadowing is crazy!
The dance wasn't improv, but apparently Jenna Ortega choreographed it herself.
lol yeah forgot to fact check on that one
Like a boss!

2:58 WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THIS, IT IS THE FUNNIEST THING EVER??? LMFAO The comedic timing is everything
It's so interesting how people have the wildest theories in the beginning
I love it how I’m watching this at 1:30 in the morning
19:15 THANK you, it's the perfect mix of unaffectedness, weirdness, elegante, not giving a fuck about others and annoying everyone else on purpose

At this point I wasn't rooting for a team up but a romance between bianca and wednesday

Oh, he DEFINITELY has his moments. I just can't fully figure him out lol
@@everybodylovesrae_ I don't know why but he still reminds me of an angry Eeyore (from Winnie the Pooh) though. Especially at the ball. 😂😂

they can have friendship and romance at the same time, it's not stereotypical in any way.
