Great video and exactly what we all want to see at this time of year. I’m fishing 2 silver only winter leagues and have been doing ok catching on casters too. Please could you do a short video on rig making especially putting No 11s and 12s on the line. I can easily manage putting stotz on even No 13s but struggling with shot. I’m using Ballabini so good quality shot, just only getting 1 in 3 to stay on the line lol. Regards Mick.
Not quite just 2 pints of casters ,, be interesting watching you on my local venue a ten peg knock up was won with a 3 oz roach in December . Still very tidy fishing though .👍
I pop them in a brown paper bag and fold it over snugly, then pop the brown bag in a polythene bag, remove the air and tie it up. They'll keep really well in the fridge like this.
The elastic works much better when a top kit has a larger bush, the pole is far from "clumsy" though lol, it's light, stiff and brilliant for hitting shy bites in winter.
@@123reetlad I thought you meant a pole in general, not that particular model. There's not much between any of the high end poles, certainly at 13m. Having to break down twice and the cold temperature probably made it look more awkward than usual.
Great bag of silvers in the winter

Great angling , by the best in the country 👍🏼
Well done John nice net of fish 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣

Well I have to admit defeat I can’t find owt to take the piss out of this week, great haul of silvers on casters.
AND groundbait ya cheat 😂
Ha ha, but no snacks were filmed :-(
great video but I will be honest that pole looks clumsy and bit over gunned for silvers

You'd struggle to present a rig that light and delicate at that distance with anything else.
@@robertcourt8593 plenty of poles can do it with ease I use a tournament, might just be the camera angle but it looks bulky to me.
