I don't think they were that good. They sound more like growling that hurts his throat, which is ironic because Matt supposidly stopped screaming in 2006 and his 2009 screams souded more like screams.
@@alexbaribeault Yeah, I think him, Matt Heafy (Trivium), and Matt Tuck (BFMV) all stopped screaming at some point due to improper technique which eventually led to vocal cord damage.
Oh yeah, their names are all "Matt"😆😆

and im glad they have brooks wackerman as a new drummer, hes a refreshment for a band bringing very similar to revs style but more experimental and intuitive (?) idn but hes awesome anyway

Syn said in one of their Breakdown videos that around this time he didn't really care how well he played live because he was always drinking quite a bit back then. Wasn't until City of Evil came out that he stopped drinking so much
