Hahha, yes! This is exactly how I feel about automation games. I never want to play them, but if I start one up I'll easily lose 6+ hours and then never touch it again for months. I've had Autonauts vs Piratebots on my wishlist, but I think I'm second guessing it, now. Picking which game to play is a whole weird thing. I have too many games and regret not spending more time with them and I also have games that I don't own that I want sooo bad knowing full well that I'll play it for a couple of hours and then leave it unplayed for large portions of time. Oh, and a game suggestion. I know this is going to sound like I'm joking, but I promise I'm not. A fantastic PC game: Bang-On Balls: Chronicles. I don't know how to describe this game, but it feels a bit like Mario 64 but instead of jumping into paintings, he's jumping into movies. Def an underrated gem that's out there. Again; a fantastic video. Thank you. This one feels cozy and the humor is spot-on. Keep up the great work.
Thank you! I’ll have a into that game, sounds interesting! I’ve also got a whole bunch of games that I’ve bought on my to-play list but also heaps on my wish list. Not enough time in the day haha
I have never complete at least half of evolution at Autonauts because it gets just annoying after certain moment. But still interesting game. It makes me always abandon my previous save, and start another one in 3 months later, because when I am trying to continue my previous save - I already forget mechanism of my previous game. And it is going on and on 4th time already.
I like games like this - but I'd rather be the one mining / etc. or automating - without robots. Not sure I'd like this one seems a bit much :) Right now I've been hooked on "Across the Obelisk".
Medieval dynasty is a bit like that You start up a village and assign villagers to tasks like hunting, making tools, selling products, and farming to make a few
I think this game is super-cute, but it's too easy, and bugs kept me from getting anywhere near finishing (same with the new Autonauts v Pirates game, too).
I am confused about this game. Some people complain it is tedious, others say if it is being tedious, you are not playing correctly. Apparently the UI is not good, so it makes people miss very helpful things. So, is this game actually tedious, or tedious because most people are not able to understand what they are supposed to do?

The music from this game has stuck in my head ever since.

Yeah I’m with you there, although I thought Autonauts did a pretty good job with it

Automation games make my neurodivergent brain happy.

That's pity. Sounds like a game with a big potential, but ruined by wrong design around complexity.
