Just going to throw it out there, you can get an all over print from a quilt shop, Joann's, or Walmart and it will be whatever theme you want. Candy - three background colors. Easy. Pastries - got it. Animals - various art styles. I am currently making a dress covered with pinup zombies. You cannot find cute border prints anywhere but premade dresses.
My dream dress is an all over print (Sugar Hearts) but honestly aside from that I much prefer border prints!! They’re just so detailed and create such an impact

You could also pair silver shoes with that dress since in the books, Dorothy's shoes are Silver! The reason they're Ruby in the movie is because silver wouldn't photograph on camera that well (and neither would oil, so they used chocolate syrup for the Tin Man's oil can) and the red would add a nice pop of color to Dorothy's outfit!

I got into lolita in 2015, and it seems like a lot of lolitas were getting just a tad tired of 2010-era sweet, so I was able to get in on that $125-$150 range and get some great prints. I got an excellent condition Milky Planet OP in black for $150 for crying out loud in 2016. I feel so lucky!
I noticed that most of your dresses are on plastic hangers. Just wondering if there is a reason and second, how do you get them to stay on those hangers.
Also wanted to say that it was confirmed that the Milky Plant brooch did not sell for $900. It was a reserve bid because the seller started an auction but later accepted an offer through DMs and sold directly to that person (you can see this on the comments of the listing too). Who knows what the actual price was though.
I believe the actual price was $70? From what I heard, the seller was contacted by someone who was nice to them once before, and decided to sell the brooch to them as a favor.
