yep, I pulled the trigger and I'm racing the Ford Mustang GT3 in the DES Iracing league season #2. wish me luck. Hope to see you on track again someday when mt IR is better lol
I hate to say it but the audi that caused the opening damage that slowed down your pitstop - he really did benefit from driving like a maniac. There's almost always an advantage to sticking your nose into the car in front
GT3s are such good cars they make horrible drivers fast. But those horrible drivers always find a way to kill them selves and everyone around them. For that I stopped racing GT3 and finally shot my IR/SR up. I still miss the seres but refuse to risk my IR/SR like I did before. One week at spa I lost over 1k IR… Never again.
Honestly, that was perfectly said. As much as I love GT3s, the standard of driving in that series is awful. People drive like they're alone on the track, even in top split.
It really isn’t. If you’re racing open setup, opening up the diff, adjusting the bump rubbers a little and taking compression out fixes everything. The baseline setup is pretty awful, but if you mess with it a tiny little bit to get it to be a little more pointy, it feels like a big MX-5
Far too many people race like it is an arcade game instead of a sim. There should be a sportsmanship rule. These yahoos find themselves having their racing licenses torn up in the real world.

It finished 3rd and 4th at Le Mans this year.

The old broken Ford was faster than this lump of pig iron.
Now do it in the rain.
