I saw him live last week in NYC. He was the only one on stage as far as my eyes were concerned. It's a pity coz a lot of talent surrounded him but I just didn't see anyone but him.
@@daysjours me too. when i first saw this performance all I can see is Taemin. I just think that eventhough the other members are also good performers, Taemin just outshines them. There is something in him that is hard to explain.

you should check out his live concerts, they're on youtube. they are insane. sometimes i am honestly fearful bc the levels he reaches are too inhumanely exceptional.

I just saw Super M in concert. I have been reading forever the comment sections saying how Taemin has this "aura" and thought that I kinda knew what people meant -- watching the videos and seeing how magnetic he is, etc. But in person? This man is capital S -- SPECIAL. I love Taeyong, I love Ten and was so happy to see them all together. But truth be told -- my eyes were glued to Taemin. He wasn't even in the best of form (sick and exhausted). Now if I could have only also seen just once the beloved and gifted Jonghyun in concert...but I am happy at least I saw the legendary Taemin.

@@wj601 Actually, I think not. I have known one top-flight musician in my life, a winner of international competitions -- and what struck me was nothing was ever perfect not even when he won. He was always unsatisfied and had a vision he was chasing. That is what an artist is, I believe. So I would bet good money that for Taemin -- he never reaches perfection and it is that which continues to drive him to such heights of perfection from OUR vantage point :-)
daysjours I totally agree with you - I am a musician myself and I can confirm that for a musician to think that you are perfect and to be totally satisfied with yourself would be actually the beginning of an end... Taemin is surely aware of his potential, but I don’t think he’s ever satisfied to a point in which he doesn’t think he could do something better.
