Cavalcade of the Three Magi 2022 Barcelona - Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos - 4K Walking Tour

I invite you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Cavalcade of the Three Magi in Barcelona at night!
The cavalcades are held every January 5 in the afternoon or at sunset, following tradition, before the Kings leave their gifts at home overnight. At least since the 19th century there have been representations with the Magi as protagonists in various places in Spain. The first representation of the cavalcade is the Cabalgata de Reyes Magos de Alcoy, is documented in 1866.
Cities such as Barcelona and Madrid organize large parades with the sponsorship of municipal services and entertainment companies, while in smaller cities and towns they usually make use of a more traditional props, holding parades with shepherds, Romans, camels, music bands or regional peculiarities. They usually accompany the Kings, pages, royal postman and even Herod.
