NAPA ECHLIN brand points and condenser is what i have the best luck with. And a lot of others on RUclips say the same thing. I have a ford 801 ECHLIN CS749 are the points and FA76 is the condenser. They seem to have them for everything.
i dont know if you reply to comments but i have a question for ya. ive got a case 931 that starts hard, lots of black smoke. i put a burning rag near the intake to get it ot heat up the intake enough to get it to fire off do you think adjusting the valve lash on it would help? runs fine after it gets going..

On the gasket leak side of things, theres always the spray soapy water, see if it revs more, leakage trick. An oldy but goody.
