You are very accomplished and truthful. My so got into GT this year. He is super excited and debating between GT and UC Berkeley. I loved the fact that you said, no one knows the perfect recipe. Keep doing great work and best wishes!
You're literally one of my fav RUclipsrs ngl. Please post more videos on coding, STEM, and ML as well as what you think we might like😉 (Could you also do a Machine learning series? Please🥺🥺)
Nice advise. My Daughter just started undergrad in Bio at tech last week. Was difficult choice in choosing between Emory , Georgia tech, Umich and couple of other good schools. Hope she likes it.
Now that my daughter is going to GT pursuing CS or Maths undergrad, I came across your video as a recommendation. Its excellent advice and you have covered it really well. On point and clear. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors. If you ever get time, I'd recommend making a short video on the path which a student might take starting from elementary school all the way upto high school to get admission in some of the best schools for STEM i.e. a total career path starting from start to finish e.g. for us Kumon made a huge difference in setting up the strong foundation of Maths. Then choosing AP courses, carefully selected electives, dual enrollment etc., so cover all these topics with your example being a typical case. This will help a lot of aspiring students. Thanks and keep up the good work!
Hi sid I’m a junior from NC and ranked 4th out of 627. I have a 3.93 unweighted 4.64 weighted and a sat score of 1580 and 35 ACT. I’m taking 6 AP classes out of 8 this year with the other 2 being honors level. I sadly only completed till usaco gold and didn’t do AIME like you. I have 200 volunteer hours with a presidential award.I’m the head programmer for 2 years for my robotics team and got to nationals and for the 2 years before that I worked in mechanical. I’m also doing TSA this year. I started my own community stem project which conducts stem related projects for elementary kids in the library and I’ve done this for 3 years. I also do deca for 2 years and won districts twice. I also have a research under a professor at UNC and worked for a cleaning company over the summer and still do now. Before that I did a UNC Research program not directly under a professor. Now I’m working at a chick fila. Is there anything else that I can improve on my stats to get a good chance at GT.
your stats are pretty good so u have a good shot of getting in. I was a student from metro atlanta with a 3.7 unweighted, 4.2 weighted (honors class are weighted as on level classes), 100/900, 1590 SAT, 35ACT and I took 18/29 ap classes at my school + Georgia virtual school (taking 10 ap classes junior year is what caused my low gpa because of burn out depression lol). I had pretty solid extracurriculars, a non profit, and a good sport- but you have way more accomplishments than I did. I still managed to get a spot - you prob have one too!
Hey can you make a video on your high school schedule? Cause I am curious how you managed to do so much in 2/4 years... Also I really like your channel... I can see you blowing up in some time... Continue your work!
Hey Siddhant, I am Arpit and I am currently in the 11th grade here in India. I am planning to apply early for Georgia Tech in August of 2025 for undergraduate. I had 95% in 10th grade and had a 1440 on SAT and am planning to take it once again. I have an International level Piano certification and some minor robotics course certifications. I am looking forward for Mechanical Engineering Major. What all do you suggest me, specifically for me like SAT requirements, ECs and all. Please reply. Your advice will be very valuable for me. Thanks! Just Subscribed!
Howd you guys even maintain any of this for years? I left homeschooling in 9th grade and had to get from remedial to a couple of AP and Advanced classes
Hey man, would you mind maybe giving me tips on my current application? I am a current sophomore, and am looking to apply CS to many of the schools you applied to. Thanks!
Hi, I am a class 11 humanities/arts student who want to pursue my undergraduate degree in Georgia tech....but I have one confusion that can I give only SAT/ACT and Ielts/toefls bcoz I don't have any AP system in my school?? Plz help me through it....
Sir, Can i get into Georgia Tech without any Extra Curricular Activities ? If not ,Can I start doing any EC Activities by now and mention some EC Activities ?
Could I get in Georgia tech with a sat score of 1300? Also one big question about this university Say for example if I got a 1300 on sat Gpa of 4.0 Taking multiple clubs and extra curricular activities like sports and community services Could I still get accepted to Georgia tech?
I have one question , I can get 1400 in my SAT but I need to give assurance to my parents that I will get above 1400 coz I wanna study in usa … but the fee is a Bomb … do you know by what can I get a very nice scholarship and also in which college will I get the best scholar ship .. and also what is the best scholarship I can get …. Thank you for replying my earlier comment in a jifffy ..
I have a 1380 sat, 32 ACT. 3.96 unweighted, 4.528 weighted. Varsity baseball, membership in volunteer club, president of National Honors Society. Cambridge diploma meaning 7 AS classes and 3 AP. Both parents and grandfather went to GT. I’m out of state. How do you like my chances?
I know its been over a year, but I am an IB Diploma Candidate going into my senior year. My weighted gpa will probably end at 4.3 at the time of applications, I have a 1420 SAT and a 34 ACT. I have decent extracurriculars but none of them have to do with engineering, other than an interest in Formula 1. I’m an out of state student. How are my chances?

I don't know how valuable that would be since I didn't really have a fixed "schedule". I just made time for what I enjoyed doing.
Kinda baffled why you got out of the waiting list of CMU? Pretty sure you could've gotten in!
congratulations!!
Thank you!!

so just curious you chose GA Tech?
I just got off their waitlist earlier this week and am trying to decide between them and UMich
I did choose Georgia Tech
Hello, congrats on your accomplishments! I was wondering how I can start USACO prep as a complete beginner.
Go to usaco.guide/ and start working through their material.

If you're an international student, don't worry about AP exams, just focus on the SAT and toefls
Sir,
Can i get into Georgia Tech without any Extra Curricular Activities ?

You definitely have to do some extracurriculars.
I’ve only taken 2 AP classes, have a 4.0, and let’s say I get a SAT score above a 1400- would I get accepted?
I can't say for sure, but I think you would have a good shot.
goat 🐐 🐐🐐
thanks man!
Does going to a charter school affect my chance of getting in?
I don't think it does.
With these impressive extra curricular activities how can all ivies reject you
i only applied to 3 ivies, so not all of them rejected me (genius moves tbh)
Could I get in Georgia tech with a sat score of 1300?
Also one big question about this university
Say for example if I got a 1300 on sat
Gpa of 4.0
Taking multiple clubs and extra curricular activities like sports and community services
Could I still get accepted to Georgia tech?
Yup
I had a friend get in who had around a 1300 and had under a 4.0. This big thing is in state vs. Out of state.
@@Kibu32 out of state with those stats is difficult to do
