Twins are actually VERY common with this otter species. E.g.: Hana & Komugi, Odashi & Otsuyu, Mayuge & Goma, Cocoä & Aoi, Wasabi & Namida. Aty also has a twin brother out there somewhere.
I always thought Kotaro and Hana might be twins. It's sad that twins get separated. But maybe there's a reason. I'm learning as I go, with each new video and comment section...
