Ms Soumya is a young artist who, while singing, enjoys the raga and the bhava unlike most youngsters who choose pace rather than grace and melodic beauty. We'll done. Ms Soumya has potential to be a star performer, no doubt.
She is a truly indulgent performer. Such a pleasure to watch her perform.
The other more eloquent performer I have seen on the RUclips is Ms Charumathy Raghuraman on the violin.
Rare and Unique voice. Sowmya is gifted no doubt. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I wanted to give ten likes but couldn't.
these three divine beings are like messengers from another loka inviting you to come to that level. the music they make isn't even in the same register of the music made here on earth, the rhythm and the tempo of each song just pulsates and flows with pure Being, the deepest level of sound. What an experience, how powerful this music is.
Very GLAD to see Sowmya back on stage, incarnation of Godess Saraswati in her. Continue your divine performance , bring back excellence of carnatic music for benefit of music lovers for ever. God bless you.

Right from the start, besides being able to command listening of the audience, the presentation
Vocal by Kumari. Sowmya Gurucharan accompanied by Shri. Raghavendra Prasadh on Violin, and
by Shri. Manohar Balatchandirane on Mridhangam, there was a noticeable individuality to the way
the first song itself captivated my attention. The phonetic and pronouncing was absolutely right
with Sanskrit as the language. The variations given in tonal presentation was simply pleasing
and the highlight was neither the Violin's audibility nor that of the Vocalist got submerged into
the decibel level of the Mridhangam, and the same is to commended for the way the blending
was electronically managed by the presenters, by not making the whole presentation jarring on the ears.
The voice modulation of Kumari. Sowmya was simply masterful without throwing any airs, as artists
with similar capabilities would have resorted to. Best wishes for them as a troupe and for individual
contributions also.
Sowmya is a prodigy in making and moulded by her GrandMother...god bless you Sowmya..way to go!!

Was she always singing Kalyani in the alapana... thought she moved around a bit after 19:11 for around a minute before coming back to Kalyani.
She was doing grahabhedam there where she showed mohana
