The irritating proximity to one's neighbors is what makes city life a double-edged sword. Could always be worse though.
Hope you enjoy Shutter Island. :) There's this idea that people read because of school. I don't think so. I think people read in spite of school. I got assigned The Grapes of Wrath in grade 12, and the curriculum did everything in its power to make it boring. But to that I said "fuck that shit, I'm gonna enjoy this book". And when the teacher read my essay she thought I was overachieving. She also borrowed $120 from me and never paid it back. So much for pomp and circumstance.
