my favorite drink for gathering: Banana Brunch Punch Serves: 3 qts. From the Kitchen of: Lorita Sutton
    Ingredients:
    6 med. ripe banana
1 can (12 oz.) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed,
1 can (6 oz.) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 can (46 oz.) pineapple juice
    3 cups warm water, divided
    2 cups sugar, divided
    3 bottles (2 liters each) lemon-lime soda
Recipe instructions: In blender or food processor, blend bananas, orange juice, lemonade until smooth. Remove half of the mixture and set aside. Add 1 1/2 cups of warm water and 1 cup sugar to mixture in blender; blend until smooth. Place in a large freezer container. Repeat with remaining banana mixture, water and sugar; add to container. Cover and freeze until solid. One hour before serving, take punch base out of freezer. Just before serving, place in a large punch bowl. Add pineapple juice and soda; stir until well blended. You can Garnish with orange slices & lemon slices if desired. Yield 16 to 20 servings. You can freeze the mixture in what ever size containers you need.
This is my favorite punch to use for a party or summer gathering!

I love this style of video!
I don’t always need a budget meal plan, or extreme meal plan.
I always need info on what’s good & what’s not so good for my household.
I actually hope you might do this every couple months.
I ordered the Clear American huckleberry water.
Going to look for the Ts later this month to tuck away for my post bariatric skin removal surgery. I’m going to need comfortable EASY clothes

A board game I like a lot is Wingspan. Two to five players. Each player has a board and is aiming to fill it with birds, which you do by feeding them and paying for new birds with eggs. Each card has a different bird and has details about the bird, where in the world it lives, what sort of nest it has and what it eats. With pretty, detailed artwork. Educational and fun

I encourage on your next shopping to buy a whole chicken if on sale, here it has been over 100 degrees for over a week even up to 111 degrees so don't want to heat up the kitchen: Glass or microwave Roaster Roasted Chicken in the Micro-wave oven
use clear glass Pamered Chef Poinsettias Oval Roaster
    1 whole chicken
    1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
    SEAONDING MIXTURE:
    1 Tablespoon flour
    1 teaspoon paprika
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
cook in Microwave uncovered 15 minutes while you make the glaze.
In small saucepan warm 1/2 cup Apricot Preserves and 1 Tbsp. vinegar.
Spoon over chicken. Cook in Microwave uncovered for 15 minutes longer or until till chicken reaches 165F.

Commenting at 1:35. I was at WalMart this morning specifically for some clothes. I love their Time and Tru brand. They have a three tiered cotton dress that I own three of now and I wear them out and around the house on hot summer days when I’m cleaning and cooking (an apron goes a long way keeping the dresses in good shape). Also the tank dresses from Time and Tru are great and really sturdy. And they have pockets! I bought two pairs of men’s shorts for myself because they are less expensive than women’s and have more pockets. Took a little time to figure out sizing and rise but worth the effort.

    • @krisqueen5939
      @krisqueen5939 3 месяца назад +2

I will look for the tiered dresses. I Have converted to men's shorts and pants as well because of the pockets but I have found their sizing more straight forward across brands. 😊

L'Occitane is such a good (but pricey) brand. The name is the region in southern france with lavender fields. The brand has their own little shops on high strets in a lot of countries in Europe.
Also, it's really funny to see Americans enjoy the invention of the kettle. :D It's very common in Europe but i have been told not so much in America. Saves me so much time making porridge or instant ramens or coffee

My family enjoy playing China Town board game. A trade/bartering game that ends after 6 rounds. We play Sequence with bigger crowds, particularly with our cousins whenever the major holiday get togethers happen (Christmas, New Years).
Baking soda and citric acid can be used to brush your teeth too, but only do it a couple times a week so you don't ruin your enamel. Some people also add coconut oil (oil pulling) and cloves (chew on cloves for fresh breath) to the combination.
I enjoy my electric kettle too. Good for instant ramen (lol), coffee/tea, quickly boil water for cooking in large pots... I haven't tried it for instant oats and such yet, but that's only because I don't regularly consume it in my day to day life.

So excited to hear about the Sparkel! I've had my eye on a Soda Stream for a while, but never ended up purchasing. I was going to find a used one on Facebook Marketplace to save some money, but when I priced out the CO2 cannisters, the price per glass seemed to be about what I was paying for canned, flavored sparkling water (unless my math was way off :-)). I gave up sparkling water as grocery prices started to climb. I'll have to price out the Sparkel. I have to imagine there are significant savings, especially with being able to purchase bulk "gas" ingredients.

I am right where you are with what I’m liking to read. I was very excited to get some ideas of good books from you and hope you share more in the future. Steamy romances, gore, intense plots, these are not for me. I find myself reading a fair amount of young adult books for this reason.

I have had great used book success with both Better World Book and Thriftbooks. Both have great prices, fast shipments and accurate descriptions on the condition of the books.

You should read "Dreams of Falling," by Karen white. I seriously enjoyed it, and my reading tastes are similar to yours. 🙂

I am with you, as far as light, happy fiction books go. Especially because I like to read before bed. Some silly but not explicit books that will make you laugh out loud: the Janet Evanovich "Stephanie Plum" novels. Starting with "One For The Money". The characters are great!

that genre you describe where a story is spun with a few factors changed up, it has a name: It’s called FAN FICTION. We love it. But yes, you’re reading fanfic

I really enjoy playing sequence. I always thought it was similar to connect four. What is name of the game, with hexagons, that you showed a clipof in this video? It looks interesting.
