Monte Lake adventure BE WARNED

One of my first rockhounding adventures and was truly excited. It was alot of fun and I learned a great deal...like to properly identify calcite vs chalcedony. I also learned later on that there are some claims in the area and I did not know at the time how to check that so IF YOUR watching this BE WARNED before collecting in and around Monte lake do check to ensure your not hounding on a claim.
