potholes are usually the result of water in the underlying soil structure and traffic passing over the affected area. Water first weakens the underlying soil; traffic then fatigues and breaks the poorly supported asphalt surface in the affected area aka the water pulls the dirt down and then the asphalt has no support and breaks
The talk about the perfect road reminded me of road prototype: It could generate electricity in three different ways (solar, heat absorption, and by absorbing vibrations from the cars driving on it) and it was strong enough to withstand the wear and tear of "average level traffic" for at least 20 years. The company that designed it got a contract to build a 5-mile-long section in California, and they found it generated enough electricity in a year to fully power the nearest city for more than a full day and estimated that if all of California used that type of road it could fully power something ridiculous (like 1/5 the country) year-round. However, it was way too expensive to build, if I remember correctly, it was along the lines of a 2-lane straight section 1/10 of a mile long would cost 20 million dollars, and any such section that was not straight would have to be custom made, costing up to 70 or 75 million dollars.
That road that cappy may be talking about is bush creek rd Denton county refuses to fix that road for some reason (the only reason I know what road he may ba talking about is cause I drive on that road)
13:27 nah just cops thinking they are faster wise. It also happens with certain color vehicles like red and yellow cars get pulled over more often then black or blue cars.
I love the buddies podcast with random gta clips in the background
To make the prefect road is to make it out of Roman cement as it will heal any damage it takes when ever it rains 10:48
