I have recently rediscovered the genius of the music of 10cc after owning their first 5 albums as soon as they were released in the 1970's . The interviews of Graham sent me back to listening and loving their songs all over again . Wonderful to revisit their albums all over again. Many thanks for the great interview with Graham Gouldman

I saw 10cc with Eric on the Deceptive Bends tour, Stafford Bingley Hall. And then again a few years ago. I have to say the new show is so much better and those immaculate songs sound fresher and more beautiful than ever. Old Wild Men sublime

I just looked through a brightly lit room window and on the wall it read
10cc the greatest live band in the world🤩

A question you could have asked Graham is what did guitar shop showoffs play in the early 60s, long before Stairway to Heaven was written?

      Apache? Later Day Tripper, maybe?

the 1st three notes of Smoke On The Water was guaranteed to have you shown the door of any self respecting guitar shop

I never got into 10cc but I sure respect all the songwriting talent that lay within the band. Graham Gould is one notable alumnus of the band. The last few days, I've been listening to pop songs that were riding high on the charts when I was fourteen and pining over this girl or that girl. Wax: Building A Bridge To Your Heart - is one such song along with Jennifer Rush: The Power Of Love - which shits on the other songs of that name in my personal opinion. There's been lots of decent singles that emerged from the break-up of 10cc.

So notable you can't get his name correct.

Love 10cc and all other individual stuff. Sad that it went the way it did now only graham & kevin are talking, although eric and lol are brothers in-law ( still? ) Im not sure on them? . Last i heard eric has packed in his music altogether . Glad i got to at least see eric and graham together on the meanwhile tour.

Any sign of Eric Stewart & Lol Creme - or is it really The Graham Gouldman Group? Anyway I still file 'em under T.

This is a Word Down Your Way (centring around a tour) rather than a regular Word In Your Ear (centring around a book) and these tend to be a little more 'bite-sized'... hope that clears things up! - Alex
