Elk was my first proper computer (excluding the ZX81, which I could never quite grasp). I have amassed a substantial collection of items for it, including books, expansions, ROM carts, add-ons, and so on. I occasionally visit StarDot but I'm unsure if I have ever registered. I am aware of your significant contributions, and it is wonderful to see you here. This expansion is truly impressive and has certainly piqued my interest.

@daveejhitchins Thanks! I found your eBay store when browsing. I really want to pimp out my Elk but you have quite a few products. What would be the best combination to get the best version. I see an AP6, which I saw on another YT video but then there is your other stuff. I'd appreciate the advice. Do I drop you a line on FB regarding this? Any help is appreciated!

@@Retr0N1x Hi . . . It really depends on what you'd like to use your Electron for e.g. Games, software writing or something else? The AP6 is great for ROM expansion but is a difficult build and fit so you'll only find it for sale pre-fitted with a New Plus 1. The alternative, probably better (?) is the newly introduced Plus 2. This gives you the same ROM capability (alongside a Plus 1) but in a different way - which is: the line-up gives you 4 x cartridge slots - so, I believe, more versatile. If you're into controlling external items the AP5 is the way to go - Games, the MGC, writing software (your own or from books/magazines) the ABE. I can be contacted through Facebook or StarDot . . .
