You should build in a small feed storage room in the animal barn for grain and other feed and baled hay and straw when necessary. That way it is close to the animals and you can store any tools that you would need in relation to feeding and caring for the animals. Make sure your shop is big enough for vehicles and all your tools and other equipment like generators.

Keep the trees and move the barn. Build up and do your dirt work, then build your barn on level ground. If needed go deeper with your posts where you built up the pad to keep the end solid.

Great job getting the tractor started. Always love seeing you work on your off grid property. If I can make a suggestion. You can dig a big hole and push your cut brush and tree trunks into it and then rebury it with the dirt you pulled out. The trees will break down over time and they get out of your way faster than brush burning. I've seen other construction guys and farmers do the same thing. Keep up the good work

Besides size, the height of the side wall is most important. Our big barn has 6 foot side wall. So when we had little 1 built, we went with 10 foot side wall. Don't have to worry about headspace.

Remember with the barn Lambeau needs access to the pond in the summer. What I would do is use the level ground that’s cleared (away from the big trees) and cut down the 2 smaller trees clustered together and put the barn there.
    Glad Danielle is back.

I'd start a big burn pile. If you pile up the limbs somewhere they will interlock, and be there for a long time. I still have massive piles 6 years later in spots where I cant burn.
Also need some drainage at the road and culvert so your driveway, cattleguard and fence doesnt wash out.
