This has got to be one of the highest fidelity and quality clips I've ever seen emerge from the Ranch Show; thank you so much for posting it, BrotherHamlet!
This music was around at the same time as the Beatles and I listened to it all as a 10 year old soon to be musician myself. I was so wrong assuming that this country music was simple and not of the caliber of the Beatles. Quality country music like this only sounds simple upon initial listening, but the reality is that the talent it takes to sing and sound like buck and don rich is such an amazing incredible talent!!!
Tom Brumley as amazing steel player! The Buckaroos one of country's greatest bands. They just do not make bands as these. Every one just seemed to fit in so well. RIP Buck, Don Dolly.
Nothing can compare with American country music from the 50s and 60s. To Europeans then country and pop were one and the same dancing music, falling in love with the sound of English while in love embracing a girl, both barely understanding a word here and there, like "I love you" and "Baby please stay with me," etc. etc.
Master Class, Don Rich...the Tele-master.
One of Howard Harlan's great songs song by the superb duet of Buck and Don. Pure country folks. These were the golden years
