35 year old monbebe hag here! I collect Monsta X pcs fully and just recently started collecting Ateez. Do what makes you happy! I dont plan on stopping any time soon. I dont care how old I get.
One of the things I've come to learn with collecting various groups is what cards are better to be purchased right away before the price increases and which to wait to buy because the price will come down in time. I'm also a big believer in if you're patient the card you're looking for will show up at the right sort of price for you. For example, I've been ARMY since debut but didn't start collecting until 2018 so have had to back collect but cards that were easily $150 are now half that or even less

Loved every minute of this video as always. Your explanation about HJ was spot on. He isn't my main bias, but I feel you when you speak of the comfort he gives. He's a Captain through and through and honestly, he was my main wrecker in the beginning so I totally understand. Mullet HJ is my fave too.
I got into kpop because of Shinee, but my first ult group was TVXQ, and my bias was Kim Jaejoong (he's still my ult bias). Then I got into EXO and Block B. My bias was Jongdae and Zico. I got into BTS in 2014, which is my ult group to this day. My bias is Taehyung. My most recent group that I bias is TXT. I double bias Soobin and Beomgyu. I love a lot of different genres of music, so i casually listen to a lot of artists. I collected BTS since 2015 and recently started collecting TXT in 2023. I also collect Jaejoong, but it's kind of hard bc of SM and him having to promote in Japan. I'm glad he is finally able to promote in Korea.

I should not have been eating during that Terrell/Brennan story. Holy hell I choked. 😂 "Obviously cereal, I'm crazy but I'm not a psycho" freakin' TRUTH. Honestly, I am someone who still keeps all of their cards and inclusions in their albums and I have quite alot of albums. It feels more and more weird hearing about people talk about how it's almost taboo to keep the cards in the albums..but I really don't wanna spiral more than I already have with buying some cards. The idea of collecting seems way too stressful..but I do like watching others collections. I can't imagine the amount of effort, money, and time it took to get all of these to have full if not nearly full collections and especially really pretty cards.

the bias curse is realllll💥💥💥 most of my biases are gemini (haechan, chaeryeong, kyujin) and scorpio (liz and eunchae, hyeju from loosemble). i also have like 2 leos and 2 pisces in there🤭 i'm a scorpio myself, hehe so maybe that's why i love the scorpio idols

But coming from an English speaking persons perspective, they can sound the same; thus making it more difficult to learn over something like Japanese that always has a clear pronunciation. The way Americans pronounce Kihyun is very much 키현. I’m not saying we’re right, I’m saying that’s what it is lol.

Burnout for me happened I quit for 3yrs, don't collect the group anymore either but the catalyst was definitely being scammed $550 for a signed Polaroid 😭 and it fucked me up cause she previously sold to me and was active with others and I recommended her to a friend, and it went through! I'd never forgive myself if she got scammed too 😔 It's in the past and to this day, call me the dead sea, cause I'm still salty about it 😤 For my spare albums I just gave them away 😅 I don't have the heart to cut them up and we don't have a place to sell for at least $2 so I brought them to the cinema when there was a concert movie and gave them out 🤣 And thanks for mentioning about the group sets, I was looking at Riize sets and I was like it's too good a price, it must be fake! They've the same pics but now that you explained the process I get it now!

my most difficult bias to collect is sya from blitzers because they are really not that popular and his cards can be impossible to find.
