fun fact, the first floor of every level of the underworld has no enemies and a ledge where you can stand and let it pan out. Zagreus offers some dialogue about each realm too. This game is so intentionally made and I'm really glad you're continuing to enjoy it

to give you an idea of what statuses each of the gods and goddesses boons are kind of based around:
Aphrodite gives boons that inflict Weak (Enemies will inflict less damage) and Charmed (enemies will attack other enemies, can't danage player) on opponents, as well as improve survivability.
Ares gives boons that inflict Doom (Enemies take a burst of damage after a second), create Blade Rifts, or increase the damage of your attacks.
Artemis gives boons that grant Critical hits and improve Cast abilities.
Athena gives boons that allow abilities to Deflect projectiles and improve Calls and defensive options.
Chaos (The primordial god you encounter that came before all) gives boons that grant a variety of bonuses after inflicting a debuff for multiple encounters.
Demeter gives boons that add Chill to abilities (Freezes enemies), improve healing, and various debuffs.
Dionysus gives boons that inflict Hangover (effectively the damage over time poison status), and improve survivability.
Hermes gives boons that increase your mobility, ability speed, evasion and dash capability.
Poseidon gives boons that add Knockback to abilities and improve room rewards.
Zeus gives boons that add chain lightning to abilities, or cause lightning to strike nearby enemies.

Also, you should use the nectar at least once for everyone, but you don't actually need to invest more than that in anyone you're not interested lore wise. Some of them offer unique storylines

Here's a tip you can do the same thing that Theasus has done by just letting the second bar under the health bar be completely filled then release it.

If your wondering about Chaos in the greek myth Chaos exist in the beggining before any other life exist then Gaia and Eros pop off in existance out of nowhere and then Chaos spawned Erebus and Nyx then disapear for some reason i think.

If it helps for the next time, if you see an elite door about midway through Asphodel, assume it’s Asterius and avoid at all costs. Too many times has that bull been my run killer when I least expected it or wasn’t paying attention to the doors

Also if you want some book recs on greek myth, I highly recommend the books: Mythos, Heroes and Troy all by Stephen Fry.
Every time you talk about the musical and analyze things I feel you would be perfect to watch the web series "Alien Stage" It's a series of animated videos about gay people having tragedy fall upon them in SPACE that tells their whole story through music and visuals. I didn't see Hadestown but I do know the tragedy of the love story through the myths about Orpheos I thought you might like "Alien Stage" too.
IT'S SO CRAZY YOU'RE THE SECOND PERSON TO RECOMMEND THIS TO ME - and the other person was on my musical theatre channel. I'll totally have to give it a watch!
