For me the issue was different, I have a self built PC with an ASUS motherboard, which comes with "armoury crate" - a built in software installer and configuration tool. all my bluetooth, wireless, and audio drivers are downloaded from there, NOT through windows updates.
@@LotusGeek..... I Did.... before your first reply... my comment wasn't asking for advice, it was notifying other people that if your tutorial didn't work for them, they may want to try something else like I did, which worked, entirely void of your commentary...
The last tip pointed me in the right direction. MSI B550 Tomahawk Max Wifi mobo. Nothing decided to install the MSI bluetooth drivers so I had to manually do it. Works perfect now.
@@LotusGeek thank you very much for your reply! I ended up uninstalling half, restarting, then uninstalling the remaining half. Not sure if it can be done successfully that way, in any case, I downloaded the rz608 BT drivers from ASUS website, their Bluetooth modules these days seem to have this issue often from what the various message boards say lol
Take my like and comment, quick instructions, simple and to the point on what to do, and for me it worked. Thanks Geek 👍
Thank you 😊
Good advice, very quick to follow though. I have had this problem for several years.
Happy to help

You can download from the Bluetooth manufacturer website
@@LotusGeek Well, I already downloaded it from armoury crate, which was already on my computer and waiting for me to allow it
Then proceed and allow to install the drivers

How did you do that? Not sure where to find the drivers
If my mouse and keyboard are both USB, how will I get to restart my pc after uninstalling each USB serial bus controller?
You can use the power button else click on action tab in device manager and click on scan for hardware change
