Battle of Westport - Loose Park - Kansas City, MO

The Battle of Westport, fought October 21-23, 1864, was the largest Civil War battle west of the Mississippi. Sometimes referred to as the “Gettysburg of the West”, this battle was a clash of 30,000 total troops, with action occurring where this video was shot, in Kansas City, Missouri’s Loose Park.

Amazes me that there is no monument or even a marker where the mass grave is.......How sad.
