We stopped at a bike accident once. Really nice couple; they slid in an oil spill and missed falling down a cliffside by a mere inch. Managed to keep their bike, too.

Was on the back brake way earlier than it looks. 😂 Camera makes it look like further away before she pulled out but it wasn't that far.
@@crussrides6141 no you weren’t. The speedo barely goes down 5 mph in that whole situation.
@@4321woodsy I can tell you now.. the back brake was on and the gears were being shifted down before slamming the front brake.

@@crussrides6141 fair enough if you say you were. It looks from the video you could of emergency stopped if needed. I think you got lucky with the swerve as she was a bit unpredictable. But yes you are 100% right you shouldn’t of had too but you know what inpatient car drivers are like
@@4321woodsy as I was braking the bike started to shake left to right and bounce. Got lucky that the side the bike bounced when I swerved was the right side and not the other.
Tbf I have only been riding a month so probably could do with learning that everyone is going to pull out and to slow down when it looks like someone is about to pull out.
I'd seen her way back, could have prepared earlier and that's a lesson well learnt.
Tbh it all happened very very fast so in my head I braked early but maybe not as early as I'd thought. I just remember trying not to let the bike buck 😅
