Back again.. this time I’m taking notes… I just submitted my revisions for my Personal service agency in Indiana. I’m currently working on my med waiver documents… What advice would you give to me as a new entrepreneur in the home care field? This video is awesome Your content is amazing Can you do a video specific to Indiana ?
I recommend booking a call with me because the comments section will be too small for the advice haha. There's alot we can work on. Also we are doing a seminar in May that I recommend as well.
Great content. Question, how do you go about gaining insight on the currency plan the physicians are using to determine if you can suggest a different MCO plan that would hypothetically pay a higher doctor visit rate?
Good question! MCO will always pay more than straight medicaid and as will Pace programs. So lead with do you take medicaid clients then do they work with X plans. If they don't work with x plans you let them know you can help get them enrolled and the rates are good, then assist with negotiations and you will see rates on both sides.
If aiming to get a commission from the plan I beleive you need insurance licensure but if you are assisting with enrollment as an agency to help your clients get access to care no.
Good question, 1st confirm Medicaid is active, 2- obtain authorization for services or enroll into a waiver program/mco/MLTC 3- initial assessment and admission....also are you enrolled as a Medicaid provider? Best bet would be to setup a call with me at www.passiveworkforce.com so i can properly guide you.
