My initial thought about parents was they were not informed. My dad would crucify a sybling for sleeping with another one of our spouses. Now it feels fake. Something is off. I would more or less disown my kids if they cheated. I would be 100% on the faithful spouse's side. i would be open to forgiveness (they are my kids) but would be firm that the consequences are on them.
