@@OKspeedandcustomI have an idea for a new t shirt. Restored model A on the front with “it takes someone special to restore an old car.” On the back have an Ok Speed & Custom rod with “but it takes a real man to cut one up”
Another way to remove rivet heads is to use a cut-off wheel on a grinder and cut an X in the top of the rivet then you can chisel the head off and punch it out with the air hammer. This might be a bit faster than 40 grit. Looks good so far 👍👍
Capt save a bro to the rescue. You guys are lucky to have each other. I wonder how diff life would be if I grew up with a camera in my hand. It’s just crazy. I’m so proud of you guys. Nice score on the big work table and the new brake. Your fans enjoy getting to know you and learning your craft by watching you put this old iron back together. Where does your source material (original frame dimensions) come from? Does it trace back to factory specs or did someone just record measurements on a pristine frame?
That Robinson or elf frame and fork up in the rafters lol build that thing and sweet vid man glad your getting tools to be able to do more work that's always good
So many hours involved. Your patience is OCD. Love listening and watching you work. Shop looks clean and organized. A must with multiple projects going simultaneously. Forget about it.
Seeing this frame work makes me wanna go to junkyard and find a parts truck and cut the front end frame mounts off for the front bumper . Then cut my old ones off my 85 S10 and then weld new ends on it cause the truck was wrecked way before i got it 6 or so years ago and it makes the whole front end off cause the bumper don't line up correctly at all , i replaced the whole front end clip but when i went to do the front bumper I'm like thats not good and its drives me nuts . It Makes hood alignment off when u shut it and 1 fender rubs the bumper on one side . Some said yank the frame end back one way straight but i doubt that will do it sadly cause the brackets are suppsed to be welded to frame but they have bolts in them now and the wholes for them are tore up

It's nice to save them when you can! New ones are a lot less trouble. Appreciate you watching!
I'd rather "Z" a frame than such a deep c-notch, as such a notch weakens the frame as the vertical rail height is greatly diminished.
