I love the models most of all at my LNS. I could spend hours just looking at how each piece was stitched and FFOed. There is so much creativity and inspiration.

My favorite part of my LNS is the area set up for stitching. It is so enjoyable meeting people once a week and stitching together. We have show and tell and get inspired to continue our craft. Love you ladies so much. Happy stitching everyone!

My favorite part of visiting an LNS is looking at all the beautiful linens in person, seeing the thread walls of floss. I enjoyed the WIP parade, and showing all the beautiful project bags! See you on the next one. ❤

I just loved seeing all your WIP's Ladies. They are all so beautiful . I love walking into a shop and being greeted with a friendly smile and hello. That always sets the tone for a shop. I having a selection of floss and fabric to kit up patterns are always nice.

Loved the wip parade. My favorite part about a stitch store is the stitch nights where you can get together, see other people’s stitches in person, and have great conversation.

The best part about an LNS is its models. Seeing the charts in real life is so important. Creative finishes are inspiring and are a springboard to get me thinking outside of the box. Good lighting and a comfortable and fun atmosphere are critical to get me to come back again and again. Speaking of that, displays that rotate are also a great way to keep things fresh.

The first thing I love about my cross stitch store is all the finished and fully finished pieces that were on display and on all the walls of the store! I also love looking at all the fancy floss they have! And pattern organization

What i like walking into a store is looking at the finished work on the walls. I find something I would like to stitch. I like seeing what the name of the pattern name and designer. I am a visual person as well. Loving watching your wips. Thank you so much!

I’m sure whatever you girls choose to do with your store, it will be successful. You all are the real deal!!
In a store, I like the atmosphere best… comfortable and joyful. Specifically… framed samples on the wall, comfortable chairs for the husbands to hang out patiently, organization of items, but mostly a friendly, helpful worker. Best wishes. I hope to get to journey to your store one day as my daughter now lives in Utah. So… on one of my trips fingers crossed!

I love the ability to see a model or something you’ve shown that you are stitching on and be able to kit it all up to start on it that day. I also like the chance to see floss or fabric in person, whereas sometimes the computer screen distorts the color. I can’t wait for your store to open and be able to plan a trip to visit. It would be awesome if there was a stitching/hiking retreat there 😉

What I like to see in an LNS store is to be greeted with a “Hello and Welcome” when I come in. Being able to see stitched models, all the wonderful fabrics and floss available. Then being allowed to sit at a table where I can set fabric and floss down to check it out and see what will work with patterns that I buy from the store. Plus love to be able to chat with other fellow stitchers. I am looking forward to the grand opening of your store!❤

I went to a store in SC and they had their stitchy fabric hanging on pants hangars sorted by count all along one wall and I just loved being able to walk over and easily see the color and count I wanted as well as see other colors I “had” to have. They had two or three rows all along the wall and it was just bright and colorful with hand dyed as well as more common neutral fabrics. I am trying to figure out how to squeeze in a trip to y’all’s store this summer when I visit my daughter in CA. Good luck with all you have to do! Y’all are awesome! and all of your hair looked beautiful today - thank you for being real!

Loved the Free Pattern shown today but each one of the free stitch patterns have been great!!! The WIP parade from you three was so inspiring. I charted 25 WIPs from my project bags and I’m excited to get at least half of them finished this year if possible 😁. As for my favorite LNS pointers, first lots of samples stitched and finished as eye candy with patterns near by to not have to hunt; second having a wall of beautiful threads to pick from as well as notions; and third a table to welcome stitching time as friends to get together and be inspired to shop! If I ever get to Utah, I would definitely want to visit your shop as you as a family have such kindness for all the stitching community ❤️. Best wishes as you get the shop 22:13 outfitted with furniture and accessories!

My favorite store closed last year after 40+ years in business. Whenever you walked in a group of women was sitting, stitching, and chatting. They had the best selection of fabrics and always surged it for you. If you had a question they had an answer. They carried several brands of floss, threads, and patterns. Also by the door were scrap bags of cloth in various sizes, colors and count. I miss them.

Cozy little corners to be able to sit down in and look through some of your choices and to make choices on certain items would be a fun thing to have in place. I'm up north, so Pine Needles is my closest shop, and I love how they organize patterns. They have a sample stitched up and then a number system, with a number attached to each sample. They have all the patterns filed and you just have to find the number you want. So easy and fast to find pattens. Love you all so much. Everything you design Lindsey is so beautiful. I just can't stitch fast enough. I don't like confetti stitching either. I love a cross stitch store that has lots of stitched models displayed. Patterns often don't do it justice. I also like to see a lot of floss; dmc, weeks dye works, colour and cotton--the more varieties the better. I also like it to be cute; I know that is, subjective, but I like little vignettes of attractive displays. Also, a table or two set up for people to come in and stitch. Hope you all have a wonderful week. Diane

Ok 1st let me say this is my favorite floss tube. I always feel like my unfinished stitches are laughing at me but after watching the WIP parade I may start a few more.
For the gift card drawing I think it’s most important to have a knowledgeable person working. On travel we popped in to Dyeing to Stitch in VA Beach and the sales lady took the time to explain to me the difference between all the different cloths you can stitch on. I have restarted cross-stitch after 30 years and things have changed. I bought several different linens. Being able to hold the fabrics in my hand with helped me go out of my box of using just Aida.

Since I don’t have a local N&S, I travel to Utah and what I have been amazed at are the model stitched pieces !!!! Amazing difference between the pattern picture and seeing it up close and personal!!! I do love having a great option in fabrics to stitch on. I have to order most of my linens and once in a while I don’t like what comes in the mail and I’ve paid an arm and a leg for something I’ll never use. Tickled. Pink that you will have a lovely array of flosses. Can’t wait to visit your store!

I have never been to a shop dedicated to needlework, since I have always been just interested in quilting (until I began watching your videos!). One of my favorite quilt shops, about an hour and a half away, has a corner of the store which is primarily stitching related. It is set up so cute and displays such pretty finished projects that I have often wondered if I would like to try cross stitching. I always have so many quilting projects to begin, and/or finish, that I don't know where I'd find the time!

Great wip parade girls! For your shop like you guys said easy organization visually, everything by designer, as many models as possible, a cute decorated bathroom, also I would try to sell a unique item…doesn’t have to be stitchy related. Even a specific piece of candy that means something to you girls. That’s something people will talk about and whenever they see this item, will think of you guys and your shop, it will become sentimental for those who take a trip to your store. This item/edible something should sit near your register. Have fun with it girls!!

I’m on the east coast but would love to make the trip out and see the sights too. I love seeing samples stitched at stores and having all the floss and fabrics to get it all at one place. ❤

Great stitches! I've only been to three stitch stores so far, but I love when they have a table for stitchers or shoppers to lay out patterns and fabric, or just to sit to rest. I also love when travelers have a sign to hold up that says the name of your store. (I'm also a scrapbooker.) Lots of models make me buy more, and hope you have some quilts displayed too. I can't wait to come!

I am lucky enough to be 25 minutes away from LNS Riverview Stitching in Monroe MI. I appreciate seeing cross stitch fabric in person. I have been disappointed so many times ordering fabric on-line and the color is not what I wanted and it is expensive. Also being able to see all the floss in-person.
I just vacationed last year in SLC and then right next to St. George to visit Zion. I want to go back soon, and am so excited to visit your store ❤

I loved this flosstube and really enjoyed seeing all your WIPS. I don't get to go to many LNS but I would enjoy a stitching area for community. I think having a table where you can do a floss toss with your thread and fabric is a must. Lighting is also important so the colors look accurate. I like when things are clearly priced so you don't have to keep asking questions. Finishing items in the same area as the pattern is nice. A kids corner with toys so moms can shop and they can play. Gift items for friends. Whatever y'all do, it will be beautiful and I'm sure will be loved by your community. ❤💛❤💛❤

Definitely a plus to have patterns organized somehow by designer. theme, etc. Also, have a spot for new patterns. Just 1 of each in a small file type box. Very helpful for “seasoned” stitchers! 💜

I think you should have a Nettie's Nook. I haven't been to a cross stitch store since the late 1990's...... but it's always nice when you're treated like you've been coming in forever, which I feel y'all would do. Loved seeing all the wips.

My LNS closed in 2024 due to retirement. I really like it when patterns are organized by designer. I also like things that are clearly labeled and easy to find. The big thing for me is to be able to see and touch all the things!

I think the most helpful part is the personal wisdom and help the workers can give. Especially when you are newer. Just being able to have someone guide and help you. The feeling of community.

What I love about my local shop is that they carry patterns and finishing items. Thank you so much for sharing all your projects ladies.

So there's one stitchy shop that I love going to and it has the patterns, samples made up, and everything you need to kit up your project and they cut the fabric to size. I like the all-in-one shops. I visit another shop that has the whole front of the shop is patterns and the back is pre-cut fabric but they don't sell floss. But I agree with Nettie, seeing the samples made helps sells the patterns, because sometimes the picture and colors on the pattern don't do the actual pattern justice until you see it all made up, and how they have it finished. :)

Fun WIP parade ladies! I like to see on a table all the new releases and finished samples on the walls. Also, I just started stitching again last year with your Valentine Quaker. Love all your patterns! All the best to you and your endeavors!
