Very good info Anson. I would have never thought of the trash from construction being in the pump. As far as the screws I have seen several places on both the trailers that we have owned that they just used what ever screw they had in their hand.
While I’m struggling to figure out what is going on with my RV water system, I have to celebrate that reaching the pump on mine is so simple compared to what you have to deal with!!
Nice work getting it fixed up my friend. Shavings could be from when they built rv and drilled holes for fittings. They never make something easy to fix or repair in campers
Like the red hair. We live in town but we have hard water. Lime builds up around the faucets and sometimes we get calcium grit in the faucet screens themselves. You're getting her done. 😃😃💖💖👋👋
Umm...yeah our pump cycles too...no leaks...it doesn't cycle often but I just flip the switch to the pump off when we go to bed. Maybe I should do the same to our pump but afraid if I take it apart that it won't work at all when I put it back in! 😱😜🤣
Yeah it worked like a dream after I cleaned it to but should have double checked other screws before it decided to eat itself...ugh. Thanks for watching.
Ohh our pump is intermittent turning on and driving me crazy! All lines no air and not on but all night long the pump turns on about every 15 minutes or less! So need to take it apart and check this bladder thingy! Afraid it won't work at all when I put it back together! 😜🤣😱💦
@@ShepherdsChapelonYT I was told it was because the bladder inside the pump (the yellow flap part) was dirty. I ended up cleaning and saving the old pump as a backup.
I really enjoy watching your family journey. Jeff from Bobblehead sent me over.

Thanks brother...yeah not a fan of the builders to this RV...lol
Need to adjust the by pass screw, bottom screw on your pump.
Thank you... If I still had the pump. It did not survive...😬👍🏼

Ummm....thanks...lol. Hope you figure out what's wrong soonest....we STILL gotta get a new pump installed at some point.

Yeah ours stopped but for other reasons...lol. So yeah... Good luck...😬😁👍
Did you figure out why it was running intermittently I have the same issue how about every 40 minutes it turns on for a second. Can't find any leaks.

Thanks for getting back.I guess I'll try cleaning it. Any tips on cleaning it or do you just rub the parts until they look clean.
@ShepherdsChapelonYT I had never taken one apart before but was easy and I just cleaned the bladder with rubbing alcohol.
How long inbetween each cycle of the pump before you cleaned it?
I only cleaned it once but our issue was not from being dirty... The pump overheated and melted screws holding the diaphragm
