Kansas City's Deanna Rose Farmstead - things to do in Kansas City!

If you live in Kansas City close to Overland Park and have kids - you must get yourself to Deanna Rose Farmstead. • Moving to Kansas City ... We used to call it Deanna Rose Petting Zoo when my kids were little and it was one of our most favorite places to go. My daughter took the kids she is nannying with this summer and I just had to crash their party and come with them! This place has grown so much, but still has the best small town feel that it always did. They still have the pole fishing, goats to feed, cows to milk and lots of sweet animals to talk to. This is just one more reason to love Kansas City and Overland Park!

Today, my whole school went there, it was awesome best field trip! At the place where we fish, I caught 1 fish!!! Fed some goats and stuffs like that!!! Your video it seems like they were alot of people but when we went there there were only like 21 people! Hope this place doesn't die! deserve a sub!

So glad you had a fun day at Deanna Rose! We were there on a weekend - you got lucky to have the whole place to yourself! It was one of my favorite places to go with my own kiddos when they were little. Feeding the baby goats with the little milk bottles was my favorite!

What's the cost? My family are planning a trip here this summer and I can't seem to find anything about the cost to get in.

It looks like it is $3 for everyone 2 and over, but free after 2pm on M-Th! It is seriously the best place! You and your family will LOVE It! Opens April 1!

Those poor calfs are alarmingly skinny. I was thinking of going there but not after seeing the condition of the animals.

hmmm. I certainly don't recall any of the animals looking unhealthy at Deanna Rose. They do a wonderful job with the animals.
