Great ride Brian! I can almost feel the warm weather through the screen. It’s definitely making me forget about the sub-zero temps and the foot of snow outside!
Love watching your content! Your Super Chill demeanor and the beautiful scenery have a very calming effect. Thanks for all the hard work you put into creating great content!
I always enjoy watching your journeys and your comments. Being an ebiker myself I most enjoy those when you ride your ebike. I have learned a lot about where an ebiker might charge in unexpected places by watching your earlier videos. I also bought and wear da Brim based on one of your earlier videos. I had a skin cancer spot removed from my neck recently and I took that as an omen to cover up more completely than I have been.
The best way to get to the destination point with bike is Amtrak train. I use Amtrak a lot myself to get to the starting point of bike tour. I'm looking forward riding this trail myself at some point, hopefully this summer 👍
Enjoying your vids. And they come at a good time. I am doing a SOBO trip later this year. Plan to camp most if not all of the trip. So, this campsite area, is it #3 on the Northern Region Campsite list on the OTE map? Looks like nice sites, and a good price!
Sounds like a fun trip. Not sure on the campsite number but it is south of Barberton/ north of Clinton in the Franklin-Clinton Area in google maps. I think there are some further north too.
@@bikingbrian Thanks Brian. I wasn't thinking, the map and camp site reference came off the new set of OTE maps. My apologies. I believe we're on the same page. Like I mentioned, this is a very timely series. Thanks again!
I am planning on doing the Ohio To Erie Trail this september. Although im only going to do a half trek, Cleveland to Columbus, but im super excited because this will be my first Bikepacking trip.
The reason for explosives was that the Akron Rubber Duck minor league baseball team will hold fireworks displays after games. They set up right beside the trail. They will close a very short section that is right behind their stadium.
this is my home trail Brian....liked your excursion. Amtrak is an awesome way to travel to different trails. keep up the good work
I can't wait to see this adventure
Thanks for watching!
Very nice! Love ebikes and love Amtrak even more.
I have some more ebike stuff planned for 2023
As a local, I thoroughly enjoy watching others enjoy this beautiful trail. Always interesting to see what fresh explorers find interesting on it.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for posting Brian!
You bet!

I love your videos. You’re my favorite creator
Wow, thanks!
Excellent ride I'm considering this one this year. I'm near Cleveland and frequently bike north east Ohio. Not a bad spot to bike
You should! It is so nice and since it’s local how can you not ;)
Wonderful route ! We started taking a thermacell with us last year they work surprisingly well
I agree!

Excellent video with your graphical displays of the route. I was wondering the date of your trip, but I see it started July 30, 2022.
Thank you!
That mosquito repellent looks like a great idea !
It does work well. Thanks for watching
I'm going to take the Amtrak from Cleveland back to Chicago when I finish. Did you find the train to be pleasant experience with the bike?
It’s not too difficult but it varies depending on each employee you ask so flexibility is key.

Hi there. Always enjoy watching your videos. What was the date of your OTET trip?
i seendates now...in video.
Love all your videos Brian! Thanks for sharing your adventures!!
As always thanks for watching! It was late July into August
Nice video
Hey man how do you get your bike on the train? That's a good idea. Can't do that in my area it's 200 miles to nearest train. Really love your vids .
It’s pretty easy for the bike train. Amtrak you usually have to book in advance.
@bikingbrian at the London,Ohio trailside camp...was there an electrical outlet there to charge batteries?
Do you have a link to the mosquito thing?
No link sorry but it’s called thermacell

What was the date of this ride if you dont mind me asking?

Is that your ebike or no
Regular bike this time but I have an ebike trip planned.
You didn't introduce your bike.
I’ll have to do an updated gear video.
