maybe but not emotionally, he killed his brothers and was smiling bc he was with his mom in the couch alone. he doesnt care edit: and also he was smiling when he killed Vic.
Oz might use his new found power against batman to try and get him arrested and sent to arkham. I can see Bruce some how getting evidence of the penguin killing Vic maybe getting evidence that he killed his brothers from his mother if its possible to get her out the vegetative state
I didnt mean emotional i ment like full circle type of thing the one kill that finalized him becoming king pin of Gotham and that one kill will be one of the reason Batman or some politician go after him and that kill will be one of the reason that gets him in Arkham just a theory
This guy was amazing as Vic. Made the character so endearing. And he's 100% right that Oz's lack of remorse and his blissful happiness at the end is totally what shows him to be an absolutely monstrous man.
How cool would it be for the second Batman movie to open up and have a moment where Batman is observing police investigating the crime scene after discovering Vic’s body…and while the police miss little details, Batman somehow scans near the water and finds Vic’s license. Then in the end…the way he gets Penguin sent away is by pinning the murder of a youth on him. #justiceforvic
@ Because it’s a murder. He’s a detective. He’s BATMAN. Stretch indeed. 1. “Detective Comics #1028” - This issue focuses on Batman solving a murder mystery involving a John Doe-like victim. It delves into Gotham’s politics and explores how certain victims are left without proper identity or justice. This story highlights Batman’s forensic and investigative skills as he uncovers deeper layers behind the crime. 2. “Batman: The Long Halloween” - Though not strictly about a John Doe, this classic noir-inspired series has Batman investigating a series of murders, with victims initially being anonymous. The atmosphere and investigative work make it a staple of his detective tales. 3. “Batman Incorporated #1” (2022) - This series begins with Batman and his allies investigating the mysterious death of Tomm Tivane, who trained Bruce Wayne. While Tivane is identified, the story showcases Batman’s global detective reach, with the murder initially shrouded in mystery
@@SketchInkRepeat nice chat gpt response. Yes, hes a detective and has had cases with John Doe’s, but more often than not, they are just single issue stories. And, The Batman part 1 was basically a Long Halloween adaptation. Why would they tread in waters they already treaded in with Batman investigating another John Doe, that doesn’t even connect to an overall story? The John Does in Long Halloween contribute to a wider story. In this particular universe, Batman is not going to be investigating a lone John Doe. Not after the city gets flooded and destroyed. Not after a major gang war. Not after an underground bombing that imploded the streets. Vic is dead, and that is the end of his character. Deal with it.

@@jomeotrashgod1098 yes, I did. Yes Batman is a detective, but this is year 2 Batman in a Gotham that’s destroyed. He may not even find Vic’s body, let alone investigate it. It’s Gotham, and Vic is definitely just another statistic.
I think it will affect him actually. It’s undeniable that Oz liked and cared for Vic as much as he possibly could for someone that isn’t his mother. The way I see it, If Oz didn’t feel attached to Vic he wouldn’t have hurt him at all. If he truly was just some other grunt in his militia he’d have no trouble using him up until he died naturally for the cause. It was BECAUSE he cared so much about Vic (in his twisted mind) that he felt like he had to kill him, because that’s exactly how he almost lost in this season.
I want to believe Vic actually survived. Here's my theory. When Oz left him for dead he threw his ID card into the river. Oz just got up and left, Vic could've faked his death remembering that Oz told him to be quick thinking. Losing the ID gives Vic a chance to reinvent himself. My guess is eventually he wants to do good and help people. I think Vic will ultimately become Robin.
I think he’s just dead, I’m sure Oz is smart enough to confirm a kill especially when strangling 😂 sorry but I don’t think any theory is gon help Vic get out of this situation, It’s finale he’s just dead bud.
This decision will come back to haunt him for sure, he just killed a son figure. Victor looked up to this guy and had his back when no one else did. Cobb will regret not having an ally he can trust, especially in a city like Gotham. Meanwhile, Batman will get a Robin and this is what Penguin will regret not having.
I think that his character was a bit campy compared to the other characters. A lot of the gangsters in the series seem campy too. I hope they make the next season more visceral
