Tying the PMD Jedi Master
This little pattern works great for the picky fish of the South Platte River during the summer.
Hook: Daiichi 1110 size 18-20
Thread: Semperfli 12/0, Dark Brown
Tail: Dark Brown Hackle Fibers
Body: Hopper Juan’s Slim Rib, Clear
Thorax: Dark Brown Thread
Wing Case: Medium Black Holographic Tinsel
Legs: MFC Midge Body Thread or Semperfli Micro Glint, Black

never appreciated the final "flick" step until I tied this & then saw how the midge thread legs separate. Very cool.

Which resin did you use (or recommend) for the wing case? Thanks Juan

I personally use LOON thin, UV resin. Any of the top resins will work for this just as long as you use a powerful enough light to cure it.

What marker are you using to
Color the top half of the body? Just brown sharpie?
