Stupid take. Nobody, I mean nobody thought Stroud was walking into a better situation than Bryce before this season started. Absolutely nobody thought that. Why? Because the Texans had been the worst team in the NFL since 2019. There is a reason why the Texans had the no.2 pick in the draft and the Panthers had to trade up to get that 1st pick. Before the season began, PFF ranked Texans' receivers as the worst in the league. Talent wise, Panthers are far superior to the Texans even to this day. The reason the Panthers sucked this year is because Bryce sucks. He dragged everybody down to his level while Stroud elevated everyone around him. If Stroud had been drafted by the Panthers, he would have led them to the conference championship round and possibly the Super Bowl.
