The cheapest way to buy icp when it's goes to zero when SEC classes it as a security. Xrp is only coin that's legally not a security.

#1. SEC is America only - why would what SEC does affect companies outside of US adopting ICP? America would just be left behind
#2. XRPs whole purpose is the financial system. ICP can do payments - but that’s not really their job. ckBTC & ckETH are already some of the best L2 for facilitation methods.
But ICP being a currency when it’s needed to run it’s computational power on the blockchain wouldn’t really be a good idea. So ICP isn’t competing with what XRP is trying to do.
#3. ICPs use case(s) are much more beyond any other blockchain. And the tech is unique to ICP alone - no other chain is 100% on chain without Web2 / Centralized data services like Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and AWS(Amazon Web Services) running the blockchain’s front end - AKA the client side of things. ICPs their own full stack, no oracles, no web services, all ICP protocol all on chain. And recently AI is able to be INSIDE an ICP smart contract.
#4. ICPs smart contracts (called canisters) alone can store the entire cardano blockchain 2x (400gb) it may even be more now.
In conclusion: I don’t think the SEC labeling ICP is a security is going to matter in the long run of things
