The quendya list is still shit, how do you place those numbers based on the experiences of a player with a single class? Why might that player think it's a 9 but he hasn't tried all the other possibilities?

As a SUCC nova main that grinds exclusively on succ, I can confirm that the class is simply that hard. My deckhia thornwood grind is very difficulty while i stay at one place and use the same few skills over and over :)

he made a pve tierlist before and called awak witch difficult because her abilities had too difficult inputs. I called him out on it and he deleted my comment, he basically deleted all comments because everyone disagreed. In that same video he bragged about how he has played all classes so people should trust him unlike all the other tierlists that were made by people who hadn't played all classes......
Absolutely love your content, Blue! I really appreciate the work you put into your class interview videos as well. This was quite an adventure.
I just wanted to add that I've often described BDO as being similar to MapleStory and Runescape in game design philosophy. Particularly, the PvE grind loop and RNG-based progression system are what I compare to MapleStory for a person who has not tried BDO, but is familiar with MapleStory. They're obviously completely different games, but there is some familiarity to be experienced in that situation.

The best part is that he openly said he is a competitive player who achieved the highest rank in other games every season but the newbie focused content he's releasing are mostly misinformation. He's living in his own world and doesn't take feedback.

So I just started playing the game and for my first character I picked hash, is it normal for me to be lost? Cuz I feel like hash is a shitshow, lvl 60 rn.
as a succ dk main i can definitely confirm spamming like 10 random skills and always being protected if you do so is very hard compared to actually knowing what you are doing, and also its very hard to spam random keybinds with mouse+ keyboard while playing with one hand KEKW
The one handedness of dk is often the trickiest part I agree

That's going nowhere so class is ezgg and that can be unfortunate since it means we have less viable skills for places like crypt where you might need a freaking forward guard or SA. Shais lucky they're basically always in pve SA tho so it's w/e but a few changes to the rotation could be way more fun and interesting.

This is a major problem with the majority of BDO content creators on youtube. It’s quantity over quality. They’re so eager to just pump out as much content as they can that the content itself is usually pretty dogshit. Woo and Jonlaw are some of the most egregious when it comes to BDO content.

I mean, i dont see the point of protection when it comes to begginers, since they mostly go for one shot-tuvala spot, where protection is irrelevant

I have a seasonal let Archer who is in full V Tuvala, I gotta say holding L2+Square (the 5shot spread skill) is very hard at Tushara Ruins.

Been a Valk since early start on EU - yeah I'm a freaking pre-orderer - this honestly got me laugh so hard I thought I was gonna die... for sure we were better (some would say OP), before stamina nerf and LSA removal, but never been an easy class... for other refs, ask my carpal tunnel...

was late in watching this video. btw a main nova here, played the class since released from succession to awakening. Her succession is braindead ez even worse in pvp. All you need is Q block and pray for your CC to proc the enemy to kd. The class need high dp to optimised it well and not good for ap monkas
Started playing the game 4 days ago and I was like wizard looks cool and the thought of I'll be at a distance dishing out damage now I learned it's all about timing chaining attacks coz it feels easy to be one shot by a mob if you don't dodge and hide
I have started grinding in succession, you can come watch how I do it. awak should feel much tankier and easy tho

As a fairly new BDO player i am not sure if i should be offended or laugh.. how dumb do people think we are? LOL I mean i got my moments, for sure.. but hopefully its not that bad! I just accidentally drift my horse to the edge of the cliff and jump off sometimes! Not everytime. and i certainly know how to press Q :) Proven by the fact that sometimes when i get engaged in PVP and i am not ready for it, i will kneel instead of guard block! I do gotta admit something tho, i do have a Valk tagged for centaurs, because any other way i could not grind that spot any longer. but hey almost at Elvia :)

Ok I definitely do not know everything about every class. I have a lot of general knowledge about a great many things in Black Desert. The intricacies of classes in bdo takes years to master on each of them so anyone claiming to know everything is full of it.
You didn't watch his video before making this comment, I assure you, he states that there are maybe one handful of players in all of BDO capable of making this tier list, and he did NOT include himself. He explained later that his best attempt toward it took a year, because he went to the top players of each class and got their feedback.
All that blue is doing is showing how wrong he is and why. I doubt he would make this algorithm tasty treat of a video, even though it is what new players are searching for because it is beyond his scope.
Then again, maybe he will considering he is aiming for there too.
But the main point is that Woo is very wrong, and at the very least maybe should run it by better players to make sure people aren't mis-informed.
@@chris_hisss Woo is playing each class by himself, but he does not know things that would take like 5 minutes to learn from the internet. That is how deep his knowledge about them.

Been playing Archer for a year or whatever time it is... Still randomly finding some hidden flows between skills. Archer is the most weird in a bad way class to play.
my gf just started playing coraair as a beginner ti mmo and she able to hit her targets pretty sure woo hasnt played her for more than 10m
To be fair corsair is actually one of the more complicated classes to min max at high end, particularly awakening and especially for how mediocre she performs. But yeah the list is a meme and his reasoning for some of these placements genuinely made my brain hurt.

i feel like this tier list was just a very convoluted and long winded way of him plugging the fact that hes made all of these guides for classes before with how much he plugs it for each class.

awa sorc crit buff on shift lmb (midnight stinger)... yea but awa get the same buff on w + e (wings of the crow) wich is a movement skill you want to use anyway. just like every other buff except the ones on the rabams, copied them on awakening... like cmon, the point behind the awa sorc buff back in the class reworks was to be able to stay in awakening entirely for pve, which they did a decent job of. you can and should move to pre awa now and then for shards or heals, but those are 3 skill combos if you really want to keep it short. awa sorc isnt hard in pve at all.

I dunno. Awa sage feels way @#$%ing easier than succession. Higher APM, but the key inputs are easier than a lot of classes. Half of the kit just revolves around F and RMB.
Succ's kit is kinda ass TBH. They don't flow with ease. Some aren't even worth using. Succ really depends on mastering rift chain. Awakening has reposition tools built into his kit. Awakening skills don't vary wildly in AoE/range. You always have to reposition with succ due to his AoE ranges and squishiness.
It looked complicated but I catched on in only a couple hours of play. This coming from a brainlet guardian player. Don't know what this guy is smoking. Trying to learn awa corsair atm and she has so many movement tech to wrap your head around.

i cant even imagine witch and wiz grinding in a high AP grinding spots with only RMB 🤣. Ofc the tier list is for new players but sooner or later those new players will have high AP and suddenly realize that they need to learn that grinding with wiz and witch is not that easy, they will start to make new chars for the grind.
buttttt, you know all bdo classes are easy to use in PVE. for example kuno, if you have 200+ AP just grind in 100AP spots.. EZ PZ

I played before and after retail on NA since i came back to bdo watch his blackstar video it has mistakes on it so i stop watching his stuff. New players need to stop giving advice and making videos because it make them look stupid. My main is warrior boy this kid does not know what he is talking about.

@@stizzgaming4189 His rankings on what classes are ez and hard are way off. Some classes require crazy APM. For Example a succ sorc has to use 5 skills in 3 seconds to be competitive, meanwhile a Awakening Striker holds down the F button.
Endgame is different, you have to position correctly, use multiple skills, movement, and pull correctly. In early game you just one shot packs.
So from an endgame perspective, this tier list is horrible.

He made this list based on when he played most classes years ago, so its mega outdated, ninja doesnt even have a Q block anymore, also he probably put little to no time in the new classes, he even admits it, like not even playing tamer ever, and tamer is literally the hardest class in the game, specially awak, shes the only class that hasn't gotten easier to pick and master through the years unlike the rest of the classes, if anything her skill ceiling went even more after rework, so she yeah OP made this video out his ass
