Drucegrove supplied 42" TFT screens on the landings, and two 19" TFT screens inside each lift car at Bentalls department store in Kingston Upon Thames.
The 42" TFTs are positioned between the two lifts, and show a floor directory with arrows indicating the positions of both lifts. There is a remotely configurable advertising banner on the screen beneath the floor directory.
The two 19" screens inside the lift cars are configured differently. One screen shows the lift floor position and direction, a floor directory with illumination of the current floor position, time and date, and a remotely configurable advertising banner. The other 19" screen just shows full screen adverts, and is also remotely configurable.
The 42" screens are running at full 1920x1080 HD resolution, have a 50'000 hour LED backlight, and are mounted within an easy-to-service pull out bracket within a glass wall. The 19" screens are running at 1280x1024 resolution, have a 50'000 hour LED backlight, and are mounted within glass COPs. Each 42" and 19" screen is running from a Drucegrove DragonFly TFT500 Omni Driver, and all of the TFT500s are networked back to a marketing suite in the building.
