They sometimes school up long the main channel between sovereign island and couran cove Hard to fish there on weekends to much boat traffic Thanks for watching 👍🐟
Hi Tight, haven't seen your video for a long time again, 1 week? i was wondering if it's hairtail time again? and could you please give me some tips, about the rig, bait, and tide for hairtail?
James Zhang Hi mate Has been really quite for bait balls in the Broadwater lately So I find that until the bait comes around they are hard to find I usually catch the odd one when fishing for the snapper in the berley trail But no Hairtail this year so far As for tackle 4/0 mustad circle hook 1 metre 20 lb trace to swivel and depending on how fast the tide is running put a sinker that will get the bait down around half way in the water column When they are around tide doesn't matter so much Bait Prichard on gang hooks or mullet fillet cut into strip around size of your finger 4/0 circle hook at the very top of bait Good luck thanks for your support Tight lines🐟
Hi chau Haven't been out for a couple of weeks Last time out saw no bait balls around Only seen to catch when I can fine bait balls Normally they are around this time of year maybe late to start Anyhow any day on the water is a good day Good luck 😃 Tight lines 🐟
Hi mate Like to fish around the middle of the water So you have to change the sinker size to how fast the current is at the time you are fishing Broadwater current at it normal fast flow I use 3 4 and 5 size sinkers As the tide flow slows down go smaller to 0 size pp ball sinker to no sinker when tide is dead Good luck Tight lines 🐟
I find around winter is best Don't really fish for them. But the deeper water is best when I berley up In the colder months they sometimes come around mostly if you find a bait ball and berley Good luck Tight lines 🐟
Roy LUO Hi mate I find any deep water around broadwater If I can find bait ball and berley up 50% change you can get them around Best colder months Don't chase them must Don't like to eat Tight lines🐟

Hi mate
Has been really quite for bait balls in the Broadwater lately
So I find that until the bait comes around they are hard to find
I usually catch the odd one when fishing for the snapper in the berley trail
But no Hairtail this year so far
As for tackle 4/0 mustad circle hook 1 metre 20 lb trace to swivel and depending on how fast the tide is running
put a sinker that will get the bait down around half way in the water column
When they are around tide doesn't matter so much
Bait Prichard on gang hooks or mullet fillet cut into strip around size of your finger 4/0 circle hook at the very top of bait
Good luck thanks for your support

What pound leader do you have, what is your hook size
Hi Kevin
I use 20lb leader black magic from bcf
And 4/0 circle hook mustad brand I find best
Good luck
