Absolutely an amazing alternative to using weights only. Who would have ever thought? I would have never imagined this to be so effective unless I saw this here. You explain this very well. I'm past my prime at 52. But I'm only 122 lbs at 5'4" and I'm super healthy and i love to run. But my muscles for the most part can't support my own body weight for many of these exercises. That says alot about the strength i don't have. I'm still working on my pull up. I'm at ground zero. And i thought i was stronger. I know I will definitely get stronger with these exercises. I've always loved watching the Olympics. These calisthenics exercises are right up that alley. I wanted to be one of those Olympic people when I was in my young teens. Well those days are gone for me, but I'm still alive and well, and this is what I'm stuck on doing now. Amazing, thank you.
These eventually get to easy so to continue making progress you need to progressively lower the bench to make it harder or switch to free weight triceps movements
yess do all types of pushups, they really work wonders. if they get too easy, find some rings and elevate your feet, you can stretch way past you would normally on the floor
Keep doing this great work people are watching you from the globe ❤ Can you make a full tutorial on 0-100 training of everything biceps, triceps, abs, neck, shoulders legs and diet too, and everything else? Being an ultimate guide to get fit and body building just like you.
Hey man, thanks for your amazing content. I love your Videos for All the different bodyweight excercises and im going to try them out this year. Cause of you i want to buy some rings to work mainly on my pushing skills. Thanks again for the awesome advices and free training tips. Keep going👍🏼😁
Was doing this on accident qhen doing incline pushups. My chest and tris exploded when i switched to body weight. Absolutely recommended this excercise
This tricep exercise u just showed+pushups+dips, are these the exercises that built ur tricep like that? Is so, do u do this movement with additional weights?? Pls reply, just curious to know
One without the other always looks wrong and unbalanced, doesn’t matter if it’s bis or tris. I lose count of the young guys I see in the gym who have huge biceps popping out their sleeves but almost no muscular development elsewhere
Depends on you If you think they're lacking or If you just wanna spend some more time at the end of your push day, go ahead and throw in some isolation work. If not, then compound lifts are still gonna grow your triceps a lot
Triceps have been proven to not benefit from stretch mediated hypertrophy, it’s crazy the amount of misinformation that goes unchecked on shorts compared to TikTok
If you gonna do triceps just use a cable or do skull crushers. There's no need for this modified overhead extension. Only do this is you have nothing else available except your body. Then do tricep dips and pushups
Yes he is shredded, and insanely aesthetic but I don't think he's "too big" that steroids come into discussion. He's big enough to fill his frame, but no part of his body is abhorrently big in my opinion
I personally think Daniel is natural, he has been on youtube for over 10 years and trained even longer than that. Has quality advice regarding his training philosophy. And he is not even heavy for his height 84kg and 183 cm
@@drummingninja1065 6 is a perfect number to do though. Great for both strength and hypertrophy. If you're going slow with proper form (which it seems like you are), don't worry about it.
Funny cause im the opposite all tricep neglected the biceps on cause the floor was more accessible than a pull up bar back then, now I see pull up bars/ walls everywhere since I trained parkour! 😊
I've had some real arm disproportion because of not having trained the triceps enough when I started lifting. On top of it all, I started having tendonitis for bad form due that lack of triceps training.
I tried dips on chair but felt sharp pains on my elbow area I am unsure if it is too wide or too narrow I have changed positions multiple times but still felt that sharp pains even at times with dumbbells for triceps extension. Seeking alternative suggestions please. (If this requires me to see a doctor please type out too)
Before giving workout tips warn it as it’s not for beginners. There are lot of influencers who gives lots of advice without any knowledge about tendons and ligaments and how it works. To conditioned your tendons is always the first step so before you give advice it’s better to warn that it’s for pros or beginners
Weighted dips are the best for big triceps if you can do them. I doubt you’ll have small arms if you can strap your body weight to you and do multiple repetitions of weighted dips
This guy absolutely loves fitness and it shows. No ego challenges, just passion and facts.
you are right bro 😊😊😊😊
Who tf thinks only biceps though? Are there people like that?
Some people's biceps don't get enough from back workouts to look how they want them too. It doesn't mean they don't train anything else.
he spreads mis info. the stretch is useless. and before u say “stretch is everything” link the study that proves that.
@Voitur Are you saying you shouldn't go all the way down?
Full ROM, especially in Calisthenics is pretty important.
100% Natural. This is what dedication & longevity looks like, I'd know cause I'm the same just a lil older and prob taller at 6'2
I'm 184cm tall natty :) apart feom the red bull tbh
Nice height for a bodybuilder.
@@JohnMatrixGHS too tall for bodybuilding
@@VictorDurand-me5yuhow is that too tall
Cap
One of the best tricep exercises ever, hits core as well! Feels best on a straight bar
everything "hits" core if you try hard enough haha
@@YeahTheDuckweed hahaha
Him :
Flexing triceps ❌
Flexing shoulder ✅
wrong
hes flexing his triceps his shoulders are just so diabolically shredded shoulders

You sound so chill. It's soothing
Started doing diamond push ups recently, great for both triceps and chest
yess do all types of pushups, they really work wonders. if they get too easy, find some rings and elevate your feet, you can stretch way past you would normally on the floor
Them shoulder striations were crazy
Valid point about triceps Daniel!

Big biceps with small triceps is about as useful as penguine wings!
😂😂
penguine wings look cool af tho
Thank you for being such a great source of knowledge and motivation 🙏🙏

Do this on rings! It's humbling 😢😅
💯
I'm looking for this exercise, thanks bro.
This excersie all gets me sore I love it one of my favorite body weight triceps
That's really true! and even triceps are also responsible for your arm strength!
I been doing this on my barbell for a while, never seen someone else do it.
I absolutely LOVE this, im hella sore every single time
Will incorporate this into the split asap. Thank you!
Love that movement pattern
Your voice is treatment bro
Tried this in the gym today, absolutely unreal pump
Do one for shoulders 🙏🏿
Close grip high incline barbell press and dips fix any triceps weakness if done correctly ;) love it
Was doing this on accident qhen doing incline pushups. My chest and tris exploded when i switched to body weight. Absolutely recommended this excercise
I start doing it and I start seeing major results. Thank you
Doing this exercise regularly for 3 - 4 years unknowingly 😅
the shoulder striations go crazy
Being obsessed with the biceps over the triceps is like prioritizing the hamstrings over the quads 😂
Awesome movement. I do something similar, but break it down into two different exercises. I'll try yours
Dude fitnessfaq- you’re like my best friend
You can also do them on a bar, rings or some kind of sling, eg. TRX. Personally I like the TRX.
Sieht klasse aus, wede ich demnächst mal ausprobieren 👍
best body weight tricep exercise
It BURNS
I love this exercise and have been doing this for 2 years. Trust me it's super effective. I stopped doing skull crusher
I included this exercise in my training and only in this exercise I failed more than once Excellent exercise
This tricep exercise u just showed+pushups+dips, are these the exercises that built ur tricep like that?
Is so, do u do this movement with additional weights??
Pls reply, just curious to know
Might try this one.
I love ur videos with the Scharnhorst. I want to play with it but the grind is so long😭
The triceps thing has been mentionted so much - nobody forgets it.
And I feel like big biceps will always be more important for nice looking arms
One without the other always looks wrong and unbalanced, doesn’t matter if it’s bis or tris. I lose count of the young guys I see in the gym who have huge biceps popping out their sleeves but almost no muscular development elsewhere
I call these Widow-makers and they are a great finisher 💪
Do you have end to end video with how to train each day , why to eat and how to warm / cool up?
Happy New Year 🎉🎉🎉🎉
What's the name of this exercise?
Widow makers
@salvatore5415 afaik widow makers are high rep squats
It'll js be easier for progression to do skull crushers
You can progress with reps i suppose... also its more of a full-body movement which could be a pro or con for different ppl.
That angle puts a lot of pressure on the elbow joint
Doing these on a smith machine is a must. Your goal should be to eventually be able to elevate your legs on something.
TYY
Looking absolutely peeled brother, horse triceps
I've tried incorporating this exercise into my routine a few times but I always get elbow pain. I'm fine doing weighted dips though
Learning the yogo crow pose blew up my triceps. Sets up the foundation for a lot of other calisthenic techniques too.
Are compound exercises like dip and press enough or do I gotta throw in some isolation
There is weighted calisthenics. And then for isolation I like overcoming isometrics (unilateral and in 3 positions).
Depends on you
If you think they're lacking or If you just wanna spend some more time at the end of your push day, go ahead and throw in some isolation work. If not, then compound lifts are still gonna grow your triceps a lot
Well 2 sets of isolation at the end of the session doesn't take that much time tbh, just do it either way bro
i do dips with a 12kg dumbbell in between my thighs and then overhead cable extensions at the end
Can you show how to do this at home without a bench?
May i know what is the name of this exercise
Triceps have been proven to not benefit from stretch mediated hypertrophy, it’s crazy the amount of misinformation that goes unchecked on shorts compared to TikTok
Bro hasn’t cleared his throat in years
Forget the tricep look at that shoulder
Just imagine the bench giving out 0:24 Be safe yall
If you gonna do triceps just use a cable or do skull crushers. There's no need for this modified overhead extension.
Only do this is you have nothing else available except your body. Then do tricep dips and pushups
Bro you are shredded and massive, are you natty?
I'd say he is. he's been doing this for a very long time
I think he is natural. Perhaps others know of some videos where he speaks about that.
Yeah mate, it’s obvious he has been dedicated to this for years. My question was if he is enhanced or not. Either way he is a beast.
I have double jointed shoulders & I don’t think the full range kind of stretches like that are doable for me unfortunately…😢
Any time I do exercises like this my elbow feels lots of pain. The only one that I'm pain free with is a dumbbell skull crusher.
This exercise on rings
He didn’t mention if it’s too hard for you to do it find something that’s higher but still keep the plank position
do normal pushups work aswell?
Am i the only one who gets wrecked from this? I can do six or so with strict form and going slow.
Reduce the angle. The more vertical u are, the more easier it gets
@accendino2954 makes sense. Appreciate it!
@@drummingninja1065 6 is a perfect number to do though. Great for both strength and hypertrophy. If you're going slow with proper form (which it seems like you are), don't worry about it.
@John_Smith455 I appreciate the encouragement. Definitely something I'm working on.
These are great i did them in prison in-between dipps. You can do it also with your hands on an Olympic bar
Funny cause im the opposite all tricep neglected the biceps on cause the floor was more accessible than a pull up bar back then, now I see pull up bars/ walls everywhere since I trained parkour! 😊
My elbows really hurt everytime I try this exercise. Does somebody have any advice?
try doing shoulder width, i had elbow pain too, you also might be overloading
@@mmm0632 I can do 12 dips with ease, I don´t think I´m overloading. But thanx
Warm up more?
I've had some real arm disproportion because of not having trained the triceps enough when I started lifting. On top of it all, I started having tendonitis for bad form due that lack of triceps training.
Bro your shoulders have shoulders please make video on how to get it
What if i feel elbow pain while doing this?
Please. Help me with sternum pain from dips
Man this excercise hurts my elbows
Bro how can I grow shoulder like u 😮😮😮 , plz tell me my biceps are lager then my shoulder.😢😢
What angle is the bench set up at?

Anyone here suffering with elbow pains? 😢😢😢. It hurts a lot when im doing overhead tricep extension or they call it katana extension s
What is the ideal height for this on hand placement, and if no bench ?
How do i progress to this exercise?
Weights in a ruck sack / weighted vest. Alternatively lower the angle of the bench over time.
What if you have a hyperextend elbow? I have had them since birth. How can I "forcefully" stretch them?
how to train biceps in calisthenics
Before giving workout tips warn it as it’s not for beginners. There are lot of influencers who gives lots of advice without any knowledge about tendons and ligaments and how it works. To conditioned your tendons is always the first step so before you give advice it’s better to warn that it’s for pros or beginners
This one hurts my elbows pretty bad sadly
all i do is push-up variations n dips at home and pullups in the gym( is it enough for upp body??)
Weighted dips are the best for big triceps if you can do them. I doubt you’ll have small arms if you can strap your body weight to you and do multiple repetitions of weighted dips
or...hear me out...over head weighted tricep extensions.
He’s a calisthenics guy, he does body weight exercises
This is way harder than you made it look. I have to start at 1 rep!
I can't do deeper cause i always feel tendon pain can i just stop at 90 degress?
I don’t have a bench to do that on though
really hurts my elbows
I don’t know bout y’all but I hate hitting biceps, but I love hitting triceps
Exercise name ?
Inverted skull crusher
this guy taking steroids
that’s like a skull crusher
Do people actually forget about the triceps tho? I’ve always known that triceps are really what give the arms their girth
Cool but is it healthy this little bodyfat? 'Cose you are relly defined, i repet, cool but sure its ok for your healt?
who doesn’t train triceps ??
I hate it but I do them anyways and they do work
