    SKU: 033515
The Mosaic is a solid cedar top guitar with solid mahogany back and sides. The cedar & mahogany combination typically produces a sweet warm sound. The Custom Polished finish further enhances the sweet sound of this combination. This model excels in more intimate musical settings.

Your reviews are the best guitar reviews on RUclips, they are to the point and help full. That is the sound I love. Keep up the good work

Another fine description, playing and guitar. Love the cedar. Very fast transient, leading edge thump of bass. Thank you sir.

I have a 23 year old cedar over mahogany Seagull and it is amazing....wait until they get a few years on them.....the cedar really opens up....

Excellent review and even better playing! I’m trying to decide on my next guitar and this really helped nudge me towards this model. As a Canadian from the province next to Quebec, it’s pronounced more like“kay bek”

Good review Jarvis. I have this excct model guitar, and I have been extremely impressed with it at its price point. Deep tones make it well balanced when using a capo.

Besides the fact that you could play a mop and make it sound good, great sounding guitar! I have an S6 and S12+ myself. To sum up how I feel about them I seem to recall a quote about cold, dead hands... Godin is a great company.

@@mrm4xim4m I do have 2 other guitars. A Yamaha LS6 and an Alvarez AD66 which I installed a K&K Pure Mini into. The Yamaha is so easy to play and comfortable but sounds a tad thin being a smaller guitar. The Alvarez sounds very nice! All mahogany (solid top) and is a very nice guitar for a low price.

Jarvis you were really into this guitar because it came thru in your lovely playing bro...I play for a living and I love cedar tops and mostly use MIJ satin finished Taks in cedar over sapeale. This Seagull sounds lovely & the notes are all phat, round & evenly balanced, especially when you finger picked snippets of your original Just With You. Well done my friend as always. ONE LOVE & blessings, eric aka noledog on the AGF :)

A great, full review. Wonderful sound with sweet playing. Thank you. Always thought Norman/Godin/Seagulls were good inexpensive guitars. This one has caught my ear. Broke my beloved cedar top Yamaki many years ago. This might be the replacement. Makes this old Canadian boy proud.

Sounds lovely! I really enjoy your playing. This guitar has a fine warm sound. Seagull guitars are associated with quite wide nut widths. Can you get a narrower nut width, such as 1 & 11/16? Also, what is the fretboard radius on a Seagull?

Great review! I have watched several of your reviews in the past. Great playing on Tommy Emmanuel's song, "Since We Met". Very nice. I have a question: have you ever played the Seagull S6 Original? And if so, price difference aside, how does it compare soundwise to this Seagull Aritist Mosaic. Thank you. Take care.

I have owned both. The Artist is warmer with the solid hog back. The classic cedar is crisper. Not necessarily better or worse, just different.

That's one great sounding guitar, thx. Have always enjoyed your videos because you obviously have a lot of passion for what you do...I'm currently shopping for a good all around dreadnaught....could you possible suggest 1 or 2 other models you liked at this same price point (as the Seagull) that compare favorably? Thanks & happy 2017 :)

Maton S60 sounds about Seagull S6 Classic series not even close to Seagull SWS series ($500-$1000). It is definitely not up to Seagull Artist in term of sound and quality by far. Seagull Artist Mosaic (Solid Cedar top, solid mahogany b/s) is a little over 1000 USD. To go a few hundred bucks higher, that's the Martin D15. I guess it comes down to individual sound preferences.

I actually own a Seagull SWS guitar & was thinking maybe I would trade it for this Mosaic....than again, maybe not....so goes the drill lol

personally it seems odd that Gibson chooses to ship a guitar w/ a street price here is the US of around $1500 (USD) w/ a plastic saddle. I mean come on, that isn't that a little cheap on their part? At least the Seagull guitars come w/ TUSQ nut & saddle!

    Hi Jarvis,
    Long time "no talk".
Yup, bought the same model from ebay guitar shop earlier this year. Agreed with all that you said. Good price and bass response is exactly what you expect from a Seagull (Dread) and yes plus that "warmness" of cedar.
    Cheers!
    Loke

Seagull Artist Mosaic or Taylor GS Mini Koa ... what would u recomend? apreciate ur help

    • @SuchaDoofus
      @SuchaDoofus 4 года назад

It's totally different. The Taylor is much smaller. Sounds great though especially the koa. But the Seagull is much louder and bassier. Great for flat picking like here. The GS is probably more suited for fingerstyle picking as it is more mid focused. Easier to record too.

Seagull guitars are generally louder and more resonant than other guitars I own. I have one folk sized excursion model. I find it annoyingly loud esp when you strum.
