The greatest talk show host of all time. Absolutely gutted we missed out on this in the UK but watching these on RUclips from you is one of the best ways to spend the day. The song intro to this is just incredible, nobody else could do this, nobody! Craig was so ahead of his time, hell he's still ahead today and he's not doing this anymore. Sorry we sent you James Cordon but at the same time were kid of glad to see the back of him here ;)
The current crop are terribly contrived and they definitely do not have the same energy as Craig. Here or in America. They do have moments of excellence it not like Craig. But we are only really watching the best of him. His early shows were pretty poor. I would say the post 2010 of his output is better than pre 2010.
@@matthewb9621the emergence of Geoff Peterson catapulted the show to another level and let’s not forget the real star of the show and that was the illustrious Secretariat with his off the wall antics and habits and his wonderful creepy moments brought me hours of joy 🥹
@@flippeditude1170 i could say "great minds think alike" (like you said we both commented on the very same line) but its sad Craig's quote isn't a standard way of thinking/living.
Thank you so much Jayleno Fly!! I've been a fan of Craig's since he started the show in 2005. In fact I had vcr tapes I made of 60+ of his shows, from 2006 till his last show. Unfortunately, when I moved, they were lost! I cried! Then I discovered your contributions on RUclips of so many of his shows. I am more grateful than I can express, and I'm so afraid that RUclips might someday take them down. But it looks like there are many, many other staunch fans like me, young and old. I also watch almost 100 of his early monologues on RUclips over and over again. They're are so funny! Thank you again. No one on TV then and now is more witty, silly, intelligent, introspective, well read, sexy, impersonator?, kind and just plain FUNNY! I could go on and on.....
I love in the bookstore later in the week how sweet his voice became when in the children’s theater and meeting the dog. He seems quite decent and kind. When not being silly he is sincere and lovely. Miss him.
I really believe that the stuff he does here with going around to the Eiffel Tower, Versailles, and others was some of the best travel journalism done. I watch alot of Rick Steves and loved Rick Mercer, and this is right there with them. He's really interested in making everyone else look good, which totally helps make everything even more positive and enjoyable.
Thanks pal! It´s such a stupid idea to put a late night show to the streets of Paris and just do the same stuff as usual. But it makes me so happy. (I really need to go to Paris and buy English books...)
Honestly, I absolutely love this direction as a supplement to your compilations! The France theme-week one I have been missing for exactly as many years as since it aired -because I missed it at the time! I have actually been looking for it!! All I could find was some clips from the French talk show he visited. To have you make it all for us like this is just too much to ask! You are ...wait for it... super fly :)
This show didn’t have much budget, but it was so genuinely funny, authentic and entertaining, as opposed to many talk shows these days that have astronomical budgets, but are not nearly as funny as Craig’s Late Late show.
Thanks man, that is an awesome compilation. I really didn't know some parts. And I don't want to be objectifying but I have to say: Kristen Bell is looking fantastic in that outfit. I still have a recurring dream: Craig as the Doctor and Kristen as his Companion. That would be a thing.
Just for the record, Voltaire did not say the quote Kristen Bell attributed to him at 1:40:25 : "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." It was actually Evelyn Beatrice Hall, summarizing Voltaire's point-of-view as stated in his "Essay on Tolerance." The closest Voltaire came to that statement, of which I am aware, is "Think for yourselves and let others enjoy the privilege to do so too."
Seen a few clips from this episode but not the whole jazzy production 😎🤘.... anyway was cool to see all of the guests in a Scottish backdrop and how Craig does his thing with it loved it, especially the Torbrexx bit at the garage in a street ( not to be confused as an alley) cumbernauld has lovely alleys.... I digress... Michael Clarke Duncan is and was witty and comedic as hell with Craig, two of them were the right kinda of aware awkward humour , Mila, Ariel and David not making them a footnote , were cool as... like kit from night rider or spock from Big bang theory , hope they have memorys from Scotland that was worth a second visit....
I love how Craig know so much about history of France and Europe. You have to have a great deal of knowledge of history to make jokes about it. Best part of show was for me dinner talk. So raw and interesting.
@11:23 Anyone else notice this? The dog's name is "Collete". When Craig says this email is from "Claude" the dog comes and looks up at Craig. I think "Claude" sounds very close to "Collete", so the dog thinks they're talking about him/her
I remember watching these shows when they were new but enjoying this revisit. I looked up Ca Plane Pour Moi and found that there were some uptight French who were upset with Craig for using a Belgian song for this France Week. It was so funny reading about these anal people who couldn't realize the absurdity of it. It's like a 3 chord song with little sensical lyrics, meant to be a joke. I don't know how one could compress everything about the Late Late Show into a few wrods to explain to these people.. But the best part is that Ca Plane Pour Moi was #1 in France back in the day.
A croissant and a bagel would be a croissagel. Not sure if it exists yet. These are two entirely different bread products in terms of their texture and density, so I don't really know how they could be merged.
I didn't expect him to pronounce the town correctly since most people cannot. I comes from a Shawnee Indian word meaning "beautiful" and it's pronounced oh-LAY-the.
Napoleon is the obvious choice. He wasn't just a politician, there craig, he was one of the greatest generals of all time as well. Probably one of the 5 major people to influence history.

Long sleepless nights are fueled by these videos. Thank you!!!
Excellent idea. Love these weeks away. Scotland was great too.
Mr. Kaufman! Happy to see you here :D. Indeed.
Wow, this is fantastic! Missed most of Craig's show while at sea, but it was my favorite when I had the chance to watch. Merci!

Love him singing the opening in the park with the Pianist and the Cellist. "In the Park with a Pianist and a Cellist, hey Geoff is that a sex thing?"
Darryl Joudrey no, but in the park with a pianist and a bassist is
thanks for the laugh
Nailed it haha
i feel like i missed everything in life cuz i was too young to watch this show when it aired. i found it 4 years after it was over :( WHY
Tommy * me too
Hey, while you're at it watch Platinum Blonde, 1931, and Detour, 1945. They're great.
Hell, I'm 56 years old, and I didn't discover the show until the last year it was on!
27 years old and i watched in 05 guess u had goofy parents
brilliant..1 of the best ones yet. keep up the good work...cheers from Ireland..
Thank You JLF !! Hopefully, you can make a few more of these travel comps in the future 👍 😀

Sooo much goodness. Only troubkle is I don't have time to watch it all :D ..have to save it for a slower, rainy day. (what a luxury, though;)
God I wish Craig would do another show. Best talk show host of all time if you ask me.
I wish Craig would come back to CBS AT 12:30 , but that will NEVER HAPPEN.
That was a great starting sequence!
Watching Craig take the horse for a drink, then draping the horse with his suit jacket was so wholesome 🐎🥰
I laughed so hard when Reno started to talk about the sea. He went so comically deep. Kristen and Craig had a wtf look on their face
Didn't find it at all funny. I feel the same, even more so. Maybe it seems odd only cos the rest of the show is often very superficial.
@2:27:10 An example of Craig's genius.
A 100% earnest moment which left the other two feeling it. Maybe the only humorless, but completely charming, moment.
This show didn’t have much budget, but it was so genuinely funny, authentic and entertaining, as opposed to many talk shows these days that have astronomical budgets, but are not nearly as funny as Craig’s Late Late show.
Thanks for all these amazing videos, Jaylenofly.
That was quite the show, right up to the end where they are talking humour. RIP Craig's dad.

I know Capaldi is his friend, but Craig would have been so much better
My recurring dream is dr. Kristen and me as patient. My fantasy is very limited.
What an intro! The Paris shows were amazing. Tba is for the upload. Going to relive it all now
I had no idea Craig did that Homme d'Aqua sketch. Holy crap that was funny!
The best shows ever
Been away for a week so this was a great surprise, because I was just going to watch all the France episodes and boom, here they are!
What an awesome opening. Nora from Santa Fe , NM. Ha ha c’est bien! 😎 so great to have Jean Reno ! I love him! What a great Actor! Thank you! 😘💕😊
I remember hearing CA Plan Pour Moi, the old Plastic Bertrand single, back in the 80's. Pretty cool to hear it at the beginning here.
