Love the Beaches of Cuba . The water is so clear aqua color. Really enjoying Cuba and the visit . And all the humanitarian help your doing . ❤😊
I was blown away by the color of the water Allan. From what I heard these beaches don't even compare to Varadaro. Thanks Allan!
Miami and Naples are like cuban beaches
When my late parents got married in April 1955 they went by car to the beaches in the province of Matanzas. And there was an interurban trolley line from Havana to Matanzas if my late father didn't want to drive there. 😊
Had to come back to this video - for reference. I’ll be back on the Santa Maria Beach in roughly 2 weeks! 5 years ago I was paying the $30 via cab, but this time ya girl will be going by bus thanks to the BEST vlogger.
Thank you my friend and have a great time at the beach!
Viva Cuba.!! This tour guide is great and sounds very much like ‘say hello to my little friend’ Al Pachino.
I Love the beaches! Wow the water so beautiful! Food seems to be very inexpensive, but like you said your flying home tomorrow, good thing you didn’t take a chance!
Lots of people mainly not
Having much! Thank you Terry for showing us Cuba!
Bus ride to the Beach, very Inexpensive!
Especially round trip!😊

Even if it wasn't risky a good strategy when you need to fly. I don't even drink coffee before flying. Thanks for the walk through Santa Maria Beach.
Wow Havana Cuba. Stay safe and vlog!
Thanks for the great content Terry 👍👍👍
Thanks Ivan!
@@BarefootVlogger Consider visiting Trinidad in southern Cuba next time; I’ve heard it’s fantastic. It’s recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
I would love to explore the far reaches, but for this, first trip, wanted to stick to Havana.
Have you ever considered visiting Puerto Rico during the winter and doing some videos, you can even rent a car there and visit the beaches, mountains etc...
Absolutely! PR is great, been there many times over the years. Plus no passport necessary. I'll get back at some point hopefully.
Great! Keep sharing these great beach views!
Thanks Terry
Thanks for joining me Patricia!
I went to Cuba by myself back in 2017. Almost none experience traveling out of my country (Costa Rica), and it was very challenging to find and use public transportation, though I manage to get to Varadero and back to Habana Vieja for about $10.00 or less (got scared dont lie). I was told by locals, foreigner were not suposed to use the public buses, they were intended for Cubans only. Thanks for your video, this is the first one I see... If you could share anything about this topic (public buses), I would greatly appreciate it.
Very cool Terry all the videos from Cuba were amazing thanks for sharing onward and upward buddy
Thanks Mike! So glad you liked them brother, Onward and Upward!!
The old Cuban selling beer on the beach gave Trump the thumbs down. Stark contrast to Cubans in Miami...😂
This was not a hotel but a Casa Particular. You can find them on Airbnb under C&A Vista Al Mar. My tour guide was Luis Alejandro and he is the best
Beautiful
Your videos in Cuba, they are so great, love them. 😍
Thanks for the supportive words! 🙏🏻
beautiful Santa Maria beach 🌊⛱
Sorry about your sanata cruz should have got the maverick.😂 watching you in cuba having great time. Your a helll good guy.
Seeing Obispo Street brings back many memories of when I walked down that street with hunger and misery. God bless USA forever!!!!
Excellent adventure BFV!!😎👍
Thanks brother!
I appreciate the video!
BEAUTIFUL CUBA STAY STRONG I LUV YOU FOREVER MORE. TU YO BABY. 1❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
As an American, your category of travel was "support for the Cuban people." Did you arrange you trip independently? What did you have to do to go? Did you have to fill out a form or visa application? Did you have to book hotels or homestays? I am interested in seeing Cuba.
It’s such a beautiful beach terry
It's very natural looking Anthony. Nice not to see condos for a change
@@BarefootVlogger that’s understandable
The best part about Cuba is getting out of there.
@@ArizonaMMJ C’mon Man 😂
@@ArmyOne519 did you live there for 28yrs like me?
Why ?:/
Excellent video 😊
🙏
That bus to Santa Maria del Mar is only for tourists, Cubans can't afford it, probably wont be allowed in. The beach is full of trash, tourists are the only ones that trows they trash in cans if they find one. People drink alcohol, dump the bottles everywhere. The government doesn't take care of those beaches, look at the ruins around, the falling Lifeguard Shack, etc. Contrary to Varadero Beach where they keep the regular Cubans out, they keep the beach spotless. In Havana, everywhere there are people hustling, want to sell you something. Watch for the lack of hygiene from vendors selling food. If you're planing a relaxing day at the beach you are in for a surprise, loud music, nobody speaks English, which is normal, but they pretend they understand. Watch for your belongings. Keep your eyes open when you're swimming, there maybe feces floating. The best part is the water, crystal clear, warm. Good video.
Miami with a New York accent lol
What Airbnb did get.? $?
คิวบาสวยมาก
Was the lady accepting Credit Cards as payment for the bus fare? I could see the device in her hand but could not discern if that was a CC machine.
I dont think so. I think it just printed receipts. They told me it was cash only and had to be US dollars no pesos, which is kind of strange.
in your mind then, what are the implications of no seaweed???
Well for one thing, the beaches look a lot nicer. Secondly and more importantly, hydrogen sulfide and ammonia production typically occurs after algal mats have been beached on land for 48 hours, which can pose a human health hazard. It's a corrosive and toxic gas with a foul odor reminiscent of rotten eggs. Hope that answers your question.
When Cuba is freed. Things will change until then it’s oppressively depressing
can you mail cigars back to the states? anything? can you mail anything from the states over to Cuba?
I'm not sure about mailing but you definitely can't bring any back with you.
😎😎😎
hi , did you pay in USD or peso for the bus to the beach?
Great question. Funny thing is they did not accept pesos, only dollars. Cost me 5 bucks round trip
@@BarefootVlogger thks
Amen Amen! You did it!
Haha, my inspiration! Thanks for all the info and insight you provided in your travels Keenan. Priceless
@@BarefootVlogger I’m all the way proud of you in this one! Everything was outstanding.
Did you have any stomach issues?
That means a lot coming from the Havana guru! My stomach was fine, but I avoided the water and had ice in a mojito at a restaurant with no issues. Maybe I'll bump into you one of these days lol
How much were those wooden skulls that were at the flea market?
It didn't take you long to figure out the hustlers ways...
I am Cuban I recommend quality beaches Varadero I never go to those I prefer to pay and go there
With all due respect, two blocks from that area is the real Cuba Not showed in your video( Destroyed homes, Poverty, hunger, oppression) This might give Americans the wrong perspective of Cuba. Hope my comment helps ppl to really understand how things are otherwise Cubans would not flee their country. As Americans is really hard understanding how it is, because We what they don’t FREEDOM!
With all due respect you must've missed my other Havana videos in El Centro and helping the locals.
@@Justomiguel1 exactly..is like damn Haiti..
how long is the bus ride from Havana to Santa maria?
Not long, maybe half hour if I remember correctly
Did you ask Castro why people are not allowed to fish?
Info on that bus would be helpful
I believe it was the T3 bus that runs from Parque Central to Playas del Este. Cost $5 cash for a round trip but they only take US cash which I thought was strange.
Cuban people need freedom, thats it
Can I get name of Airbnb you used
Sure Denny, C&A Vista Al Mar V, hosted by Alessandro
Hello My friend.how much is the cost for the room in Habana....montly...do you have adress or phone numper.i am from Greece and i am intresting to stay in this place.thank you.nice video.this is Sparta
Thanks Yiorgos, you can reach out to the owner directly through the airbnb listing under C&A Vista al mar II, and Vista al mar V. Safe travels!
But it’s time the US end this embargo on Cuba. The people shouldn’t suffer for the government does or is.
So why doesn't he speak Spanish?
Hi Terry. The man's reference to politics must be because, during Obama's government, several acts were taken to minimize the US sanctions against Cuba. By later, during the Donald Trump era, those efforts suffered from a lack of continuity, if not totally descontinued I believe.
Have a good journey back home. Thank you.
That's correct. Obama relaxed sanctions then the Trump administration toughened them again. The Biden administration so far has not reversed those changes.
Do you wish you had more time in Cuba?
I consider he should make more of those never seen records before his safe return to FL
@@6431harry When it was time to go home I was ready. That said there are other parts of the island I would like to visit on a future adventure
One thing I saw was a hassle with people. I know you were there to help people out. You went more in the poverty stricten areas. @@BarefootVlogger Your mission would be totally different than mine. I hate to get hassled! Thank you for this trip!
Lucky for me I got two passports a US passport and a passport from a country that has relations with Cuba so I fly to that country use that passport then go to Cuba I’m well aware the US already knows but I’m a citizen of that country also so They can’t do nothing as long as I don’t bring back anything to the US that said made in Cuba likes cigars.
Canadians go to Cuba all the time without issue. I ran into many of them
Soy cubana y no conozco esa playa .las mas feas y sucias si ...
Un amie qui revient, ma dit de ne plus choisir Cuba, grand probleme Russe et Chinois, oublier pas des Cubains combatre en Ukraine avec les Russes, le Canada et presque en guerre contre les dictatures.😂😂😂
